We initially chose cp_resonance over cp_afterdusk because for 1: it has a much more finished feel then afterdusk, and I know for a fact afterdusk is still not done. 2: cp_resonance is not linear, like all the others and that appealed to us. So for being as radical as it is, we thought it deserved a chance.
That being said. we’re gonna take a look at both of them again right now.
Oooow cool; I know what you mean about afterdusk, I’m not a massive advocate for it myself, although I would still prefer it to resonance. Will be interested to hear what you guys think having revisited them though :)
I dont think my clan is intresed of this but I would really like to mix/merc with some dudes in this cup, always wanted to play on custom maps!
I can play Low+ solly ( div4 ) and Mid- medic ( Low div2 and lower )

Bump. We have 25 sign-ups so far. Thanks for the great response from all the teams so far, allthough I also have to say, div1/2 has provided a poor amount of teams for the cup. seems like they don’t feel the need for new maps.

Sign-ups close on sunday, and when they do a post will be made and an IRC channel will be provided, where each team should have at least 1 representative available during the cup.

My team wanna get signed up, it is just a question of whether we speed up getting a full team, or enter as a mix.
Sign-ups are closing sunday night. There will be a post up on FakkelBrigade.eu explaining everything and we’ll also be able to show you the groups for the group-stage of this event.

Well if there happens to be a team dropping out, think about OC…….Apparently there is a max of 32 teams and the 32d signed up 1 hour ago. /facepalm

I just uploaded the group-phase tables, wrote down all info on the cup, on the website. oh and the week 1 fixtures are up!!

Hi jonni, could you confirm what map versions we should be using and whether or not we should update to later versions once the cup has started? Glacier just had a new release and gullywash has had a couple since the map pack was first uploaded (I don’t know if you’ve updated it since).

I’ve added the versions to the map-pool on fakkelbrigade.eu but I can’t go after new releases every day myself. I have a lot of work on my plate (not just this cup) and I don’t have the time to chase down new releases. if you are sure there is a new release of a specific map you can always contact me with a download link so I can change it.
