How-To: Create an account
- Notice: Only registered users are able to use the Forum, register teams and vote on polls.
- Create an account: (Link) - You will have to enter your correct E-Mail address and TF2 SteamID.
- Notice for people with Hotmail-Address: Cause of a bug you are not receiving the first E-Mail. If this is the case request an E-Mail including your password: (Link)
How-To: Register a 6on6 team
- Register yourself on the site if you don’t have an account yet. (Link)
- After you are logged in, you are able to register your team at the Dashboard. (Link) (Example fill-in form)
- Once your team is registered, it will be shown at our Teams-List. (Link)
- You are able to invite existing users to your teams’ roster at the Team Admin Menu.
- You are able to add unregistered users by creating an account for them. (Link) - correct E-Mail address and TF2 SteamID will have to be entered.
- If everything is correct, the player will be added to your teams’ roster after 24 hours.
- You are able to sign up your team to our regular 6on6 league or cup when we open Sign-Ups (at least 6 members and 2 different contact options have to be entered). (Link)
How-To: Register a Fun Cup team
- Register yourself on the site if you don’t have an account yet. (Link)
- Go to the Fun Cup menu at Dashboard. (Link)
- Add a Fun Cup Team. Enter at least two different contact options. (Link)
- You are able to invite existing users to your teams’ roster at the Team Admin Menu.
- You are able to add unregistered users by creating an account for them. (Link) - correct E-Mail address and TF2 SteamID will have to be entered.
- If everything is correct, the player will be added to your teams’ roster after 24 hours.
- When Sign-Ups are open, you can easily sign for a Fun Cup at the Fun Cup Menu. [Link]
How-To: Remove/Add a player from/to your roster (during a running competition)
- As team leader you will have to enter your correct Steam ID at your profile first.
- You are able to invite existing users to your teams’ roster at the Team Admin Menu.
- You are able to add unregistered users by creating an account for them. (Link) - correct E-Mail address and TF2 SteamID will have to be entered.
- The new player will be added to your teams’ after 24 hours if all went fine.
- Every player is allowed to only do one team switch per competition.
How-To: Schedule a game and add it to Calendar
- All Fixtures of active competitions can be found on separate pages: Season 2: (Link), 3rd Cup: (Link), Soldier 1on1 Cup: (Link), Basketball 2on2 Cup: (Link)
- By clicking on your opponent’s team name, you will find their contact information.
- Contact your opponent (we recommend to use IRC) and schedule your game. Be sure you talk about all relevant aspects like Date, Time and Server.
- After the game is scheduled, one team leader has to add it to the Calendar. (Link)
- Fixture will now be shown at the Calendar.(Link)
How-To: Play a game and submit the result
- Contact your opponent’s team leader on the day the game is supposed to take place and check if all is fine.
- Trade the server IP
- Meet on the match server at scheduled date and time.
- When all players connected to the server, team leaders will have to make a status screenshot.
- Start playing the game and make a scoreboard screenshot in the end of every map.
- After the game is finished, one team leader has to submit the result at the Dashboard (you will have to upload all 3 screenshots).
- An admin will check scores and SteamIDs as fast as possible. After the game is verified, it will be shown at the Fixtures Page and highlighted by our IRC-Bot.
How-To: Change team leader rights
- Contact an admin.
- Tell him about the issue and give him username of new leader
- Admin will change user rights.
Notice: Only one person is able to be team leader.
How-To: Borrow ETF2L League Server
- ETF2L got a sponsored League-Server by clanserver4u.de - IP: 195.13.62.57:27000
- If you have problems agreeing on a fair/neutral server or if both teams don’t have a server, it is possible to borrow the League-Server.
- If you want to borrow the league server please contact an admin some days before the game is supposed to be played. We will reserve the server for your game and give you the server details.
How-To: Remove your team
- In the case your team died/stopped playing please give us a short notice. We will set the teams’ status to “dropped” and remove it from any active competitions.
- All dropped teams can be found at the Dropped-Teams-List. (Link)
How-To: Upload a Demo
- You need to be registered and logged in at the site.
- Upload your Demo to the site. (Link)
- After an admin has verified your demo, it will appear on our Demo Section. (Link)
How-To: Get Auto-Voice in #etf2l (for team leaders only)
If you are team leader and would like to get Auto-Voice in our channel #etf2l @ QuakeNet simply contact dAy on IRC.
Issue: Opponent is marked as “dropped”
- Regular League Game: If a team drops during a Season, their results will get deleted and won’t count in the Tables
- Cup Game: A default win will be entered for you
Issue: Problems reaching your opponent
- If you fail reaching your opponent to schedule a match, you are supposed to use our Challenge System: (Link)
- If your opponent isn’t reacting on the challenge in between 4 days, a Default Win will be entered for your team.

- You need to be opped in the requested channel.
- Type /invite ETF2L3 #channelname
- After an admin confirmed your request, the bot will join your channel.

- Game Procedure: Stand in front of your own respawn door. Do not move into the room. Do not shoot. Both players need to jump once as a start signal. In the moment both players are down on the ground again, you are allowed to start shooting.
- Notice: Scoreboard points aren’t your frags, your own deaths count as opponent’s points and the other way around.
