I play in window mode so I can get a higher FOV. Often times when I try to rocket jump or do something that requires me to move my mouse very fast, the mouse goes out of the TF2 window and onto my desktop…. How do I fix this?

Psyche

adjust in-game resolution to your desktop resolution and put -noborder in the tf2 launch options

Since I’m using window mode to get a higher aspect ratio/FOV, that’d defeat the purpose of what I’m doing :|
Thanks for trying though :)

Psyche

You would still be playing in window mode though and that is the only fix.

L-iNC

Turn off mouse acceleration if you have it on.

Playing in window mode dosen’t give you a higher FoV. :P

-noborder is the magic command

Norrland3000

Playing in window mode dosen’t give you a higher FoV. :P

But he can have 16:10 resolution and then he can see alot more, so its kind of that he gets more fov :) If he has a 4:3 monitor at the point.

It still happens with -noborder.
-fullscreen is your best bet.

Are you using mutliple monitors?
I am, it occurs regardless of full-screen or windowed; Windows’ support for more than 1 monitor isn’t exactly great.
