I’m getting the same thing
My brink just keeps randomly crashing midgame, none of my temps are high, its making me go crazy :(

a list of some crash fixes
starting brink as administrator fixed random crashes for me
Played it a bit last night, and had the following problems:
1. Randomly timeout from servers.
2. Randomly lose some of the sound while playing (shooting, voices, footsteps etc.), only fixed by a new map/reconnect.
3. Laggy.
4. Hitboxes and hitreg seems fucked up, probably related to the lag.
5. Smart system is horrible, rather they removed that and made you do the moves manually.
6. Had terrible fps at the start until I installed the hotfix for ATI cards. Still puts it around 50-60 fps though. I expect any good comp shooter to be able to achieve 120 fps especially with my setup.
Most of the stuff can be fixed probably and if it is, it would be a decent comp game.
The fact everything feels clunky as fuck and the netcode is horrible killed this game for me.
Sigh…the FPS genre is dead =(
P.S: I so wish S.M.A.R.T wasn’t a useless console port feature. Sigh.

Q_Q fucking noobs the game is 6 days old.
Hitreg is perfect, it maybe clunky but what can you expect, also kuma it’s ATI:s fault that they cannot release good drivers not Brink:s?
I have over 100 now with cfg:s and stuff but I could easily have like 300 if ati fixed it.

No, it’s the developers fault for not TQAing the game properly. How can you miss a whole range of graphics cards when doing your routine checks and optimisations?
Also, send me your cfg please!
Gameplay is fun
Not a big fan of Borderlands graphics
And multiplayer seems to run a lot more smooth than singleplayer for some weird reason
What’s the console command for FOV ? I dont like the defeault ;)
