Highlander Season 15 Playoffs Prelude

Date April 29, 2018

Written by England chando

This 15th season of Highlander has seen a surge teams both new and prosperous and veteran to the premiership pool. The influx of fresh talent has made for an interesting season as far as which team has seeded where.

:elephant:

Rising above the rest and with great comparison to their name, European :elephant: stands at the top of the table, remarkably having a perfect 30 point run in the group stage (one of the best group stage results we’ve seen for a long time in ETF2L Highlander). Despite being a “new team”, the roster is mostly an amalgamation of former premiership powerhouse Luxembourg Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! with some former Highlander legends filling the gaps. Notably, the pick up of the notorious pick class Germany Der_Milchmann who has gone to great lengths to deliver consistent results against the competition despite taking a long break from the premiership division.

Other standout players this season include, soldier Israel JackyLegs who currently is leading in kills per minute and reaching second in damage per minute throughout the season. Netherlands anni has also had no trouble holding onto the best heavy currently in Europe, completely dominating the competition. Currently he holds the highest kills per minute, damage per minute, least deaths per minute and amazingly least damage taken per minute. Needless to say engie extraordinaire UnitedKingdom cherryrendezvous also holds the current top spot for both kills per minute, damage per minute and second in deaths per minute.

This behemoth of a roster is certainly a mighty challenge for the remaining teams fortunate enough to squeeze into playoffs.

Season 29 Grand Finals: Se7en vs Ascent.EU

Date April 19, 2018

Written by Aelkyr

Strap in, as the ETF2L S29 Grand Finals are about to happen. At the start of the season, they were 8, and after some surprising results, last minute folds and roster shufflings, only those 2 teams stand tall, ready to face each other for the third and final time this season.

European Se7en are coming from the upper bracket final, where European Se7en were able to dispatch France top5rocket in 2 close maps. The talent-filled roster led by UnitedKingdom kaidus went through some major changes this season, with the iconic soldier duo of England Drackk and Netherlands kaptain, as well as UnitedKingdom Raymon stepping down, and replacing them are England Thaigrr, Slovakia adysky and European seeds. France top5rocket have managed to keep the same roster for all of the season.

Now, European Se7en are looking a bit stronger, having won the last two confrontations, seemingly unfazed by their roster changes, but France top5rocket are the kind of team that can dig deep and carry on, as last season they managed to reach the grand final despite coming into the playoffs as the 4th seed and having never played a prem final before. Now that they have a more experienced roster, is it going to be all downhill for European Se7en? Or will the lucky numbers be too much and European Se7en will win their 7th title tonight? Tune in to twitch.tv/teamfortresstv with England TurboTabs and Denmark Beater on the microphone with England gemm on the camera at 20:45 CEST to find out!
