The Fresh Meat Challenge #2: Fixtures released

Date April 9, 2019

The fixtures for the The Fresh Meat Challenge #2 are now released! The fixtures and tables can be seen within the competition tab in the ribbon. If your team isn’t included too many players on your team had a too high skill level to participate in the cup. The same goes for individual players removed from your roster.

Groups

The groups have been made and due to the high amount NA teams signing up we decided to make a group solely for NA teams. These teams are not forced to play their games on EU servers and within the EU timeframe during the group phase. As always you can reschedule the time and date of the game with your opponent. The following is a reminder of the general schedule for the duration of the group phase.

Group Stage

Week 1: 09.04. – 14.04.  cp_snakewater_final1 & cp_gullywash_final1
Week 2: 16.04. – 21.04. cp_gullywash_final1 & koth_product_rc8
Week 3: 23.04. – 28.04. koth_product_rc8 & cp_process_final
Week 4: 30.04. – 05.05. cp_process_final & cp_sunshine

We have divided the teams into 4 groups. One group of 12 North American teams, of which the top 5 teams will qualify for the knockout stages (playoffs).
The remaining 60 EU teams were split into 3 groups of 20. The best 9 teams will make playoffs, which leaves us with a playoff bracket of 32 teams once the group stage commenced.

If you find yourself on the list of these teams expect an admin to add you and request your availability if there is no information or insufficient information is given we will have to decide your match dates for you. Keep in mind that we will try and accommodate both teams, but the match date may still vary from your provided days if for example none of the days matches with your opponent’s, but your opponent offered more days than you did. Deadlines listed for the matches are flexible and may be changed in certain situations if admins are contacted about allowing extensions on these.
