By the way. An admin (wont mention any names) just confirmed they probably will not take my request serious. Even thought I am very serious about my request. I would be very disappointed if that really would be the case. Basically they are saying: we don’t give a shit about the community and if we fail we are not the ones to blame.

Sounds like my last convo I had with Daykiller :) hence why i dont bother anymore.
So they dock you points for not doing enough work to find out if a cheat plays for you (which only they can really do), but when you ask them to make sure that a cheat doesn’t play for you, they refuse?

Well I don’t think Mads cheated. I don’t know if he did in the past, but I’m pretty damn sure he didnt in rejects.
a cheat of the ex variety. an ex cheat. someone who is banned for cheating.
Yeah. But how would you know that as a team? There would be no way of knowing unless he started to cheat again in a vary blatant fashion. If nfinity didn’t get punished, why should we? Because mads was banned for cheating? No way we could have known?

I gotta say, I’m with Koeitje on this one. If the admin team didn’t notice Mads being an ex-cheater avoiding the ban for 230 days, how were they supposed to know? Not really fair to be punishing Rejects for an oversight by the Admin team, is it?

I agree with this.
There is a guy who cheats and than get banned. He is a very bad person and slips in the etf2l again. 330 teams with maybe 2500 players, damn he slips under the eyes of the Ac admins. That is not a strong move by the AC-Sector, but you cant get everyone.
Okay what happens than. He plays in some clans and landed by rejects. Rejects are an nice team, well known and gets the “you are fucked card” because the cheater hasnt got the balls to be honest. Cheater=penalty.
Its equal where he played and why he isnt spotted earlier. Cheater = penalty. Throw your hate to the cheaters and not to the admins. If we would say, okay this is a special case, every single cheating thread would be look like, gimme that pecial conditions.
I had an cheater too in an older team of me. When we recognized there was something strange, we as the team admitted him to the etf2l admins. We were lucky he havent played for us in an official, than we would had get penalty points too. And that with a good reason. Because a cheater played in that game.

He didn’t cheat in the game he played for us. And if we’d wanted to recruit a cheater why not recruit a good cheater instead of some div3 cheat? Like blow? Or Kondor? Skraam? Fyr? I don’t even know if those guys cheated, but they were a hell of a lot better than Mads ever was. If mads was dodgy and we suspected him of cheating we would have never let him play. I despise cheaters.
But whether or not he actually cheated on his first account is not really the issue here. The issue is the admins failing miserably at catching a banned player. I know the admins just try and ignore this, like it never happened (as you can see by the amount of replies in this topic). If Mads could play etf2l with no problems for 230 days incl an entire season, who knows how many banned players are still playing in etf2l?

I know what you are saying. But how would we know he was banned before? If even the admins can’t figure this shit out. Btw, turns out Mads had not 2 but 3 accounts.

Lets just say the situation wasn’t handled very well. I want to apologize to most of the admins though, I know a little bit about what went on behind the scenes. It’s a shame to be honest. Hopefully we are the last clan to fall victim to this. Time to move on.
