Double standards? :p

Tbh if you played last season, you play this season. Rewards active non foldy smeg teams. Even DCSB managed it last season :D. Then fill the rest of the slots with upcoming stable teams. If you’re a new team and you really are uber cool and wont fold after 5 minutes im sure you can wait till next season ;-).

There are quite some teams who played every season, but also dropped every season.
I dont think they deserve a reserved slot

Well of course, i dont think i explained myself well there but by” non foldy smeg teams” i mean if you dont fold, a la drop from the season then of course you shouldnt be a “cert” for next season.

If you complete a whole season however without dropping then you should be a certain for next season. Any team that dropped should be just put in th same pool as newly created teams.

With the FAN lower teams had to work on not letting a scout get behind the medic. Now they have less reason to worry about a scout from behind.

Still Valve didnt get rid of that stun effect. We told em, they didnt change it and thats the main reason people hate the fan. Its not the new movement that comes with it, its the ability to stun that makes the weapon questionable for league play.

Wait.. wait.. You TOLD THEM to change the FAN, but you didn’t question the WORST imbalance of the whole game — you know, the guy on last points (or middle on freight) who can insta-kill any class with one shot?

You did not do your job properly.

Sane thing to do would be to petition to remove the sniper as a whole (or his rifle) first, since this imbalance has been around way longer than the scouts FAN. After they’ve complied with that, we could go on and whine like little girls about the stun-effect of the FAN.

You need to remember that ANYTHING that moves the gameplay AWAY from the utteryly tiresome 1me1de2sc2so-setup that was implemented over 18 months ago would be a good thing for the “competetive” scene. Trying to limit/cripple the game itself moving forward to hold on to this insane grouping of classes, is not. It is to be considered retarded.

Who knows, perhaps it finally would’ve been worth bringing in a pyro in certain situations. It’s an extreme thought, but hell of a lot more exciting and entertaining.

Doing it just because you’re kind of slow “up there” who can’t coup with change, is even worse. In this case, you should probably have some self-insight and be really quiet before anyone notices you’ve been hollering for months due to the fact. Koietje.

Anyway, TF2 is not exactly growing commercially, if you haven’t noticed, even if ETF2L grows with every season — making the game more and more crippled is not the way to go. It fucked up the past three fortress-games in many ways, it’s kind of sad to see there are “new blood” who wants to do the same stupid mistakes again.

1 FaN would’ve been good for the league and the game. I’m not giving up on it yet, but a poll is a poll.. is a poll..
