Welcome everyone to the conclusion of the 29th season of ETF2L 6v6 for Open, Low, Mid, Division 2 and, Division 1. Premiership playoffs will be announced once the final games of the regular season have been played and will be updated to this post.

We hope you enjoyed the matches, and for the teams that made it through, congratulations.

All tiers will have playoffs, all playoff matches will be using the Map Elimination system. Note that all dates are estimates and teams are able to negotiate other days by scheduling with their opponents.

If you find yourself on the list of these teams expect an admin to add you and request your availability, if there is no information or insufficient information given we will have to decide your match dates for you. Keep in mind that we will try and accommodate both teams, but the match date may still vary from your provided days, if for example none of the days match with your opponent, but your opponent offered more days than you did. Deadlines listed for the matches are flexible and may be changed in certain situations if admins are contacted about allowing extensions on these.

Schedule

For Division 2, Mid, Low and Open tiers, the schedule for the playoff matches will be the following.

• Quarter final matches will be played from 18th – 24th March.
• Semi Finals will be played from 25th – 31st March.
• Grand Finals will be played from 1st – 8th April.

For Premiership and Division 1 the schedule for the playoff matches will be the following.

• Upper Bracket Round 1 matches will be played from 18th – 23th March.
• UBF/LBR1 will be played from 24th – 30th March.
• LBF will be played from 31st March – 4th April.
• Grand Finals will be played from 5th – 8th April.

Note: Due to Copenhagen Games LAN happening during these playoffs, the Premiership finals will be extended to 8th of April. Teams may request extensions for their matches to not force teams to play around the time period of the LAN.

Premiership

For Premiership we’re going with 4 teams in the playoffs with double elimination. All matches except the Grand Finals, which will be a BO5 with a one-map advantage for the team winning the upper bracket final, will be played as BO3.

Due to the fact that nunya only has 4 players in their roster, with one of their players not being able to participate in the playoffs, their playoff spot will be given to the next best team, which is Gardienii Fortei Mistice.

Upper Bracket Round 1 matches will be played from 18th – 23th March.

Winners of these matches will face off against each other in an Upper Bracket Final match, while the losers of these matches will play against each other in a Lower Bracket Round 1 match.

UBF/LBR1 will be played from 24th – 30th March.

LBF will be played from 31st March – 4th April.

Grand Finals will be played from 5th – 8th April.

The Highlander Season 15 Premiership Qualifiers are hereby announced.  Lucrosa will keep their Premiership spot based on last seasons performance,   Budget Toucans will be granted a Premiership spot for winning the High tier last season. Based on the applications received, we’ve decided that :elephant: will be granted a spot into the Premiership Division.

Six other teams will play through a double elimination bracket for three spots. In the first round Feila eSports slim shady edition will be facing off against Tourettes Chessclub, while lil Team battles it out against On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Both  open_squad and  WASP have been granted a higher seed and will start competing from round 2, where they will face the winners of the round 1 matches.

All games will be best-of-3 matches. Winners of the Upper Bracket Round 2 and Lower Bracket Round 2 will secure themselves a spot for the Premiership Divison.  All Premiership Qualifier matches must have results submitted before 16th of March, 23:59 CET, or before the Result Deadlines on the match pages. An overview of the brackets can be found here.

Default mercs may only have high experience; players with more than three games in Premiership over the past three seasons cannot be used as default mercs and must, therefore, be approved by your opponent. Also worth noting that following the Premiership only rules is not enforced, but is suggested.

If teams are having any issues regarding game scheduling please contact the admin team.

Map pool used for these matches will be the same as for the Main season.

Highlander Season 15: Map Pool Update

Due to the feedback gathered from our Preseason Cup, we’ve decided to add koth_warmtic_b6 to the Highlander map pool for Season 15! With this change we will also be saying a goodbye to cp_process_final.

The map pool and map rotation for the season will be the following:

Edit: Updated koth_product from rc8 to rc9. As this came up in a short notice close to Premiership Qualifiers, teams may use koth_product_rc8 in the Premiership Qualifier matches only.

Announcing Highlander Season 15!

All the information regarding the coming Season can either be found in this newspost, or will be released shortly!

We are still currently going through the feedback from our Preseason cup to decide on a map list to use for the season, map list will be finalized later.

High will be planned to continue again as Round Robin along with Premiership, while Mid and Open will remain to be played under Swiss System.

Season Schedule

• Signups: March 4 – March 16, 21:00 CET (Premiership signup deadline is March 10th 21:00 CET)
• Publishing of Provisional Divisions: March 16
• Publishing of Final Divisions: March 17
• Pre-Season Playoffs: March 11 – March 16
• Main Season: March 18 – April 20 (5 Weeks)
• Playoffs: April 22 – May 13

If you intend to sign up for the Premiership Division we encourage you to do so as soon as possible due to the Premiership Qualifiers. We will only consider teams for the Premiership Qualifiers that signed up before March 10th 21:00 CET. Additionally we expect teams without a guaranteed Premiership Division spot to be able to play all of the days mentioned above. This will be in order to have a double elimination stage for the Qualifiers to determine the best of the best teams for the Premiership Division.
