The schedule is as follows –

• 8:00pm – Ro16 Starts

• 10.15pm – Finals Start

Each round will be a bo1 on cp_toxic_b18_cup_fixed which can be found here. Please make sure you have downloaded the map before the Ro16 to ensure that matches are played on time!

The rules will be the same as the ETF2L Season 12 rules with the exception of a change in the merc rule – Each time can use 2 mercs by default and 3 if the opponents agree.

The first match is going to be casted between  vier-red and  Not Only Rocket Loves You

Our first game of the night will be between Bulgaria and Luxembourg. Winner of this game will still stand a chance to fight for playoff stage. Although Bulgaria has some experienced players such as BaTMaN or Hohen, Luxembourg might come up with big surprise with their almost vintage lineup.

Next game tonight will be a second week 2 game from Group D of 6v6 Nations Cup. Both Belgium and WinFinland have won their week 1 games, which means the winner of this game will not only take a lead in their group but also have points to qualify into the playoff stage (with possible tiebreaker if anything). Finland have a lineup of strong premier division players including Season12 Runner-ups, Finnish trio from TCM Gaming. There are rumours on the street that Darn is replacing Mike in Team Infused, who knows! Belgium has some talented players on their side like Coco or Luzzu but they may lack the experience and high level game play when facing the Finns.

Our last game for tonight is another Group G game featuring both Euro2012 hosters, Poland and Ukraine, two eastern teams. Poland obviously must miss Nor, their beast from the east but having Gameton(JHWH) instead, they still stand a chance against Jorman and his Ukrainian players such as dm master kensiq. Winning this match Ukraine would guarantee themselves a playoff stage game. Hopefully Poland will do their best to stand and fight for the 6 precious points because they need them if they want to continue playing after group stage.

Our first game of the night will be between Israel and Russia. Both teams have top tier players like guys from Crack Clan on the Jewish side or a mix of uV Gaming and International Secret Intelligence Servic players for the Russians. Behind these clan names we have stars like Retsh0ck and talents like Quik. This game is gonna be an unforgettable experience because teams will be fighting for the first place in tables (as for now) since they both won their week1 games. On the side of our favourite spire jumper, Ghostface, we can see Shampoo, who is the most known of Romania’s players. Ireland however is a homeland for ex-Epsilon player  Predz, who may impress many with his insane deathmatch and gamesense. Unfortunately neither of teams won their week1 games but the winner of this game may still stand a chance to fight for spot in the playoff stage.

Last match for tonight is gonna be a game between Czech Republic and Germany. Although Germans have many well-known players in their team like Thy*, basH and schocky, the Czech’s do have some raw talents in their lineup, for example Hitm@n and #n00pe from the div2 winning team, unity. Both teams have won their games in week1 (Czech, however, were given a default win from the Egyptian team) so the winner of this game will pretty much have a secured route to playoff stage. According to Homer J the game is going to be played half an hour earlier than the defaulted schedule.

 

HL Nations Cup: Sweden vs. England

Tonight we will also see a next Highlander Playoff match featuring teams from Sweden and England this time. Both teams are full of very experienced players in both 6v6 and 9v9 game types. Both have the tactics knowledge taken from their home Highlander division 1 clans like SNSD and May Contain Nuts, which means its gonna be an equal match and not going to be easily forgotten. Anyways, what can we expect seeing names like  Hurri, TheSucker ALX, Hat and TviQ? Only a great show it is! This match is being casted by Hildreth and  Comedian at VanillaTV .

Another game in our Highlander Nations Cup schedule is between France and Spain. France had no problems in their very own group, beating all teams 6-0 and winning it. Spain however had to give default win to Netherlands, a team who they faced in groupstage tiebreaker. Most of the Spanish team is from division 1 Highlander team  27 Most outstanding French player is their sniper,  Flippy who is a real gamechanger, rarely seen in 9v9 matches.

Highlander Mixup Match #4

Over at TF2 Mixup they have hosted another showmatch featuring online celebrities, TF2 pro’s, and TheSucker. They have raised nearly $10,000 so far and if you want to donate through chip-in, visit their website. All the money raised will be going to Child’s Play to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world, with games and toys.
