The first of the 2 Product weeks in ETF2L S28 ends with this match between top5rocket and Loli Squad!

top5rocket have had a very interesting start to their season: They have gotten 1 of every result possible in 4 maps played: 1 win, 1 loss, 1 golden cap win, and 1 golden cap loss. They achieved the win and GCW in a 5-1 victory over LEGO in Week 1, and reversed that result with Politically correct pander in the following week. How’s that for stat analysis? On the other side of the court, Loli Squad haven’t managed to pick up a single point yet, though with ANTIC dead (RIP) they’ve technically only played one match: Their Week 2 fixture against nunya, which concluded with nunya comfortably taking all 6 points. Neither team won their Gullywash match last week, and they’ll be looking to redeem themselves this time around. As far as Product goes, credu will be most likely making an appearance on sniper for top5rocket, while it’s more of a toss-up on the Weebs+ WAR side. Ignis and Bloodis have both made appearances on sniper this season, but considering its Viaduct and you typically want two scouts, I would think Ignis would be picking up the sniper rifle for the team if they need it.

As the first of ETF2L’s Product weeks makes its way onto your screen, we get to see a toss up between the teams currently occupying the top two spots in the league: Politically correct pander and LEGO. Politically correct pander are coming in to this with a fair bit of confidence – decent practice against decent opponents this week so far as Gullywash goes, but no practice whatsoever on Product. Perhaps their formidable performances in the past as true Kings of the Hill have left a chink in their armour. LEGO also opt for heavy usage of a sniper (to great effect) on Product, with dominant performances in their practice games thus far. That being said, LEGO‘s Product hasn’t quite been put to the test against a team of Politically correct pander‘s calibre – so keep eyes peeled for your favourite 60hz sniper duelists  Mon and  dmoule – there will be a lot riding on their play tonight. LEGO‘s recent Gullywash results on the other hand, are quite the mixed bag, so it will all come down to how they’ll be feeling on match night.
All in all, we should be in for a blast of a game, so grab your popcorn, get comfy, and tune in to TFTV1 with polof, TurboTabs and Beater.​

Who will earn the title of ‘the very best’?

This season’s awards show will be broadcast on the 6th of October bringing you all of the juicy behind the scenes gossip, roster moves and most importantly, the rewards from the Highlander Season 13 Award Polls. Last year’s edition of the ceremony saw the Season 12 champions SDCK taking home the majority of the awards. Will Clark end up as Clark of the season once again? Or perhaps, will a certain Irishman take his place?

Bringing you the results on Friday will be none other than ETF2L’s own  DCS, together with  CeeJaey and  Cronk as the hosts. Representing their own teams are  anni from SDCK,  proky from Feila and  princess dvs from CRAZYBWAII. Last but not least is the man behind production,  Jon, making it all possible. Tune in to BlackOut TV at 21:00 CEST (3PM EDT) on Friday for the crowning and much more!

As I am sure everyone remembers, this summer we changed how we publish our provisional plans for the near future. The way it works is that every 3 months or so we will post the provisional schedule for the next six months or so. This is the second post regarding this and covers the period approximately 1 October 2017 – 31 March 2018. These posts only cover regular season events and do not cover Nations Cups, Preseason Cups or any other spontaneous or surprise events.
