The fixtures for the Highlander Season 14 Preseason Cup are now released! Remeber to set your servers to the test whitelist before starting the game, the whitelist can be found at whitelist.tf. To change the whitelist on a server running tftrue use the command rcon tftrue_whitelist_id etf2l_9v9_s14pre

The fixtures and tables can be seen within the competition tab in the ribbon.

• 19:45 – cp_gullywash_final1 (draws are allowed)
• 20:30 – pl_upward (bo1)

Now that the excitement from the pyro update has died down it is time for some highlander. Specifically time to test the new and changed weapons in preparation for Season 14.

We have added a few new weapons to the Season 13 whitelist, however we have banned a few weapons due to bugs added in the update. If these bugs get fixed we will revisit the whitelist. The whitelist can be seen at whitelist.tf.

The cup itself will take place on Saturday the 28th of October. Signups will close at 21:00 CEST on Friday the 27th. It will be in a round robin format of tiered groups of four teams, both fun and HL teams can signup.

As there are a number of significant changes in this update please make sure you post any thoughts on the whitelist for the upcoming season in the forum thread.

Due to the recent release of the Pyro/Jungle Inferno Update we have updated our weapon whitelist for season 28.

The preset on whitelist.tf has been updated.

All new or significantly changed weapons are banned including:

• The Dragon’s Fury
• The Thermal Thruster
• The Gas Passer
• Hot Hand
• Second Banana
• Mantreads
• Panic Attack
• Pretty Boy’s Pocket Pistol

The Beggars Bazooka has also had a new significant bug added in the update and will be banned until the bug is fixed.

Masters-of-gimmicks Lowpander take on the anime-loving Weebtunnel Tactics in this Week 5 on Snakewater and Sunshine, which is making its grand reappearance to ETF2L this week! Yay?

Lowpander are sitting in 3rd place with 19 points, right behind LEGO (who have already played their match this week) at 20 points and SVIFT at 21 points. However, with pocket (and semi-carry) Uubers mysteriously leaving the team last week, Lowpander might have a gap in their armor that the weebs might be able to exploit. Speaking of Weebs, Weebtunnel Tactics are in 6th place with one win (which is more than can be said for Da Choke Bustaz). On the bright side, they’ve also played fewer maps than most of the teams, considering one of their early matches was supposed to be against ANTIC.

Since Snakewater is reappearing this week, let’s have a look at last week’s results on that map. Lowpander took a 3-0 over Da Choke Bustaz, despite having Menty mercing for Marten. Scouts for Lowpander put up good numbers, and will be looking to do the same thing this week. Weebtunnel Tactics had a very different result, losing 5-0 to LEGO in just over 20 minutes. If they want to beat Lowpander on Snakewater, they’ll need to reconsider their strategy and shut down EU shenanigans, or last week’s result might happen again.

Casters will be Row and Ombrack, with Beater on production!

Highlander Season 13 – Wrap-up

The playoff games have ended and the winners have been crowned. The main season of Premiership was shown to be very promising and competitive, and in the end it was proven to be different to what we had used to see in the past year.

We want to give big congratulations to Super Dickmann's KANNONEN! as repeat the winners of Premiership! With  Strong Opinions once again pulling up slightly short. And finally we see Super Dickmann's JUNIORS! improving on previous seasons by claiming third place.
