HIGHLANDER SEASON 6

Welcome to the landing page for ETF2L’s 6th season of Highlander! The Highlander league is a recurring appearance after the success of the ETF2L Highlander Community Challenge with over 800 participating teams in 2010.

NEWCOMER GUIDE

If you are new to 6v6 or competitive TF2, or haven’t played in ETF2L before, take a look at the [Newcomer guide] first. It should get you started in no time!

FORMAT

Every team is placed into a Division that matches their skill level, with 8 teams per Division. The lowest ranked division is Division 6, and the highest is Premiership. Teams from one Division will meet each other once. There will be 7 regular season matches, with playoffs for the top 4 of the Premiership Division and potential tiebreakers for other divisions.

PRIZES

We here at ETF2L are also working hard to provide you with the best environment for competition possible. If fighting for the European crown is not enough for you, you will certainly be thrilled to hear that Season 6 will again provide money prizes for the best teams! We cannot currently confirm who is providing the prize money, but we will announce it as soon as it is known!

Players in all divisions will receive in-game medals for winning the group, as well as participation medals for finishing the season.

In addition to the cash prize, we have top quality hardware prizes for the best team in the Premiership thanks to Tt eSports by Thermaltake. Please make sure you go and visit their website and Facebook Page to find out more about them!

SCHEDULE

The regular season has 7 match weeks, followed up by three weeks of title playoffs in Premiership or two weeks of potential tiebreakers for other divisions.  Here’s the full schedule:

  • Main Season: March 9 – April 26
