Ermmm, not sure what you mean but I dont use any config, I have a semi decent PC, but still get FPS drops with windowed mode. I get a pretty stable 100 or so most of the time in full screen, but windowed drops it to 65-70 or so.
May I ask a Steam related question?
My steam is not working. Everytime I try to connect, it either disappears (but still in task manager) or would get stuck in ‘Connecting Steam Account’

Oh, I assumed you did have an fps config so I retracted my earlier statement and went on to agree with Foster.
Anyway, I never knew windowed mode gave worse fps. Guess I should try playing full screen to see if I can break my fps record :D

1. where has 50GB of my HDD gone? it says 180GB used but when i select all the files it only comes to 130GB odd. could it be in backups made by vista or has my OS stolen it? anyway is there a way to detect where it is and get it back? cheers
