My pc has been making a rather loud huming noise lately. Sometimes on start up and most of the time just randomly?

could be a few things, try taking the side off and try and see where it’s coming from. common causes for this include badly secured fans and optical drives

Windows explorer crashes every 30 seconds or so. Win 7 something or other.
the most common cause by far for chronic explorer crashing is damaged system files.
try doing a system file check by going to start > type
cmd
right click it, select ‘run as administrator’. in cmd type
sfc /scannow
be warned, if it finds problems it will ask for your windows 7 disk.
elevating cmd is a good way to get around issues with running with switches w/ UAC on w7.

I should update the cpu and the mobo as it seems for get a decent setup
suggest me the best compromise from price to performance

shouldn’t buzz, it will cache and preallocate when downloading before writing to disk, so…
might be cpu interference, had it in my time, unusual but does sometimes happen, especially on badly grounded builds.
SSDs are worth buying now, best way to use them: buy a small(ish) one, put OS and programs you access regularly on it, profit. little known fact: most of the delay in opening a program is not due to your cpu’s speed, the bottleneck is the hard drive. no real point putting games on it.

if you want a decent compromise between price and performance, get a nice OCing bundle, an entry level phenom and am2+ board (maybe a 790x chipper) should do you fine
ga-ma790x-ud4p is pretty nice, not sure of the price/performance point on them at the moment though.

Are you real or are we living in a computer simulation?
who knows.
something i think about a lot actually, but i’m not sure it really matters. what’s the difference between reality and simulated reality if it is accurate enough? all it would say is that we have no real free will, which i suspect anyway.
If you could destroy 3 programming languages which ones would you destroy?
