Just out of curiosity, does that work for other drives as well? I.e. my tf folder is on C:, can I use “startmovie D:\blabla”?
I would just try it out instead of asking but I’m at work :p

afaik it is entirely relative and doesn’t support an absolute value.

As I have a little spare time now, an hour or two, is anyone around to help I need to know how to get the last version of TF2, before the Mac update for some demos I have. If no one is avaible now, but are tomorrow then leave comment and i can add you.

It does work, put the quotation marks around the directory and filename, otherwise it won’t work. So it should be:
startmovie "F:\myrecordedstuff\movie1"
Would add an option for changing recording directory in the pldx tool, but if you do startmovie within an alias then it won’t work, because it requires double quotation marks.

Some people said use AE, I wouldnt really go in to that yet.
I’d start with Sony Vegas Pro 9. :)
I was reading over how to save your demos and I didn’t see the way to get back to before the mac update, am I blind or stupid?
I am thinking of starting get write up rough plan soon, so that means I will also start experimenting with clips, so does anyone know a good guide to using Sony Vegas, for things I might ened to do in a Frag Video, like colour correction (I know this sin’t essitnal) etc, a guide to after effects would also be cool.

You shouldn’t need tuts for basic Vegas usage, it’s the most straightforward thing since walking. You want color correction? You click color correction. Simples.
As for getting before the mac update, you need a nosteam TF2 with that version.
Where can I get a non-steam TF2 from?
I am pretty dumb as I said so is there anyone here to help quickly?

kk, when I find one I presume I have to apply each update seperatly until I get to right one. Well this is going to suck.
