I think what should be considered fair or not is the inconsistency in point redistribution as a result of this. I must admit I’m not sure how the process goes, but I do think it’ll be a bit weird of LOL team are just handed a default win, as well, seeing as this will make eSrael drop below them into the relegation spot, and since boomeh hasn’t played against eSrael etc. they’re put in different spots, and considering either team would most likely lose, in this sense it could open a debate as to what’s fair for other teams.

Ya must remember it affects other teams in div1 and isn’t just a YYT matter.

Same goes for us in our division and the conclusion was: nobody cares. Making exceptions for div1 = double standards.

Well, he has been cheating for a very long time (probably forever), I’ve checked his other aequitas files, and even one from 2008, and there is already that cheat line, and he manipulated the aequitas file to remove it too.

EDIT:

Same here (but didn’t upload his file)

and the list goes on. On a lot of other matches he just didn’t use aequitas.

Funny how none ever checked his files before :/

How the fuck did he manage to get away with it for so long?

And @ YYT:
You should get the same punishment Rejects got. Same rules, same situation, same punishment.

Unfortunately his cheat was not Aequitas detected until now.

atreides

Guess no one wants to apply double standards.

Adjust relegation spots to solve the cheat bias.

Like quiting tf2 :D

offtopic:
Except Boomeh actually cheated this season. Mads didn’t (or well maybe he did but it wasn’t proved?) it was him making a new account that got him banned.

If regulation spots get edited can the promotion and demotion spots for div3 also be edited.

No idea why Aequitas didn’t see it before, but I guess he was quite good in hiding his cheats.
Also if you cheat and are in div 1 you have some advantages when it comes to the possibility of hiding your cheats (even though a lot of people will watch you in stv).

If you are on some amazing killing sprees and/or do some moves that would seem suspicious if you were playing somewhere else, people watching will most of the time just think you are very good and stop it at that.

That seems to be true also for players in the opposing teams. People seem to trust and respect their opponent and assume they are not cheating.
This is of course very understandable, if you have a player who has been playing for a very long time without ever getting any suspiscions and maybe been playing at LAN’s together and so on you don’t expect that person to cheat.

Remember also that hundreds of people have watched Boomeh in STV without really suspecting anything.

In the lower divisions you instead have an advantage, as a cheater, by the greater number of players and teams. It is easier to disappear in the crowd.

Boomeh came back from inactivity a while ago if i remember correctly, my theory is he started cheating then because he couldnt be bothered remembering how to aim but i dunno, i really really doubt hes always cheated…
