Why not recruit instead of folding?

I do wonder why Koeitje wants to get involved in other ppl’s business so much.
Because I got the feeling clans fold to easily. One setback, one loss, one player leaving: team folds. But as I said before, it seems I’m the only one that cares about that.
Shut it koeitje. Talk to me when rejects finish 4 seasons.
this.
yeah u did it well and found some great players to continue. we tried and didnt manage to find some guys who fits. so there is no point, getting tired of recruiting and all the time which was spend into these recruitments and then see the players going inactive or leaving again isnt really funny. we didnt say: “hey wuhu we lost someone lets fold then.”
was more like a feeling and then a talk what we should do now and which is the best solution.

Guess it was to much to ask then to not join the new season or try and finish it.
I doubt we can finish 4 seasons. Not because of us folding, but because of tf2 dying. And if we fold we wont do that in the middle of a season. Because we still play this game for fun and don’t want to ruin the experience for others. Teams can fold all they want, but doing it during the league ruins the experience for others in your division.

You, good sir, are an idiot. What’s the difference in an inactive team losing every game 6-0 rather than just dropping and not giving those 6 points to each team? I personally think it fairer that they just drop instead of going inactive mid-season, and effectively give 6 free points to the rest of their opponents, whereas they might’ve beat some at the start of the season, making their chances of winning the division slimmer, if not impossible altogether.
Also, foreseeing half of your team going inactive in a months time when they’re all playing 6 maps a night before the season.

A. Nobody has gotten 6 points from them dropping.
B. Who said they would lose every single game?
C. Something being less bad than something else doesn’t make it a good solution.
D. I doubt they all went inactive on the same day.

A. So would you prefer the teams who beat them early in the season, before the team dropped, to be able to keep their points? Please try to make more sense. And some team getting <6 points from them, while the other teams get the full 6 because of their inactivity causes a disadvantage to the team that didn't get full 6 points.
B. Tell me how not to lose every single game if you play 2 games a week? Might work in d6, but d3… Doubt it.
C. Indeed, but something less bad is obviously less bad, and as such the BETTER option.
D. That is completely irrelevant to the situation here? 3 of them went inactive faster than they could get replacements who wouldn’t leave themselves.

There is a fair point being made here we lost 3 people all without saying a word. Yeah we are div 6 clan but we are continuing. Its a difficult process to keep recruiting but every so often you find a couple of players who will stick with you. Who gradually improve with the squad, it aint easy and is a thankless job being a CL especially when on occation players can turn around and say I want to play this class now or I’m leaving. When your full in that position, we let them move on and as a team you move on, hell without them we are second in our division, so am pleased with that.

A. Never said that. You are implying that people who played them before and got like 4-1 results should keep that score and others (the games that were planned after the fold) should get 6 points as a default win.
B. Because the divs are fubar? You seem to be able to predict the future? And besides these guys played together for ages, does their teamwork evaporate the moment they start playing less?
C. They both aren’t solutions. Yes, one if better than the other. But that doesn’t make it right.
D. How do you know such things? Are you a psychic? 3 of them still managed to reform a team and recruit some guys to play with them in a couple of days.

Mate i do agree with you, pisses me of when teams are created and folded, but it indeed is hard to recruit. For example you’ve played with a team together for a long time and suddenly 3 people leave.Imagine what kind of loss is that. You’ve played with them for so long and suddenly you have to start searching for new players and its mid season.Imo that is to much free time and nerves just to waste on a game.

ok. we pretty much recruited team like that “hey wanna play some ladder games whit us sometimes like once a week or something” “yea whatever” and i only asked people from my friendlist i didnt ever even check recruiting forums or something, also i cant play later than 21cet and in HH they wanted to start play at 21cet or later.
and now we can play one game at 19cet and then caliban, huhy and punssia/inuy can trial for “REAL” clans
Honestly koeitje… IT HAS BEEN SAID A NUMBER OF TIMES AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN. The few ppl who left -HH- to form their new team (don’t remember the name) to play a ladder match every now and then isn’t exactly a new, active team. With two of the HH players being backup too, it is hardly a “remake”. And I never said anything of a solution, as that would just be the case if a team went inactive mid-season. Their earlier results are going to be better than the results at the end of the season. And even an active d4 team can easily take down an inactive team, because their teamwork, comms and personal skills are going to drop rather quickly. We experienced it too after just a week of inactiveness, as our results were shit on the very first time we played. Also, how do I need to be psychic to know that they went inactive faster than they got replacements? It’s obvious just from seeing they FOLDED. And on top of that I personally know genesis and we’ve talked about what happened with HH before their drop.
Koeitje try to make a team first and then talk, its not that easy.

Pretty sure Rejects was down to just him and Loco not too long ago.
