Look on the front page, there’s 40 matches going on tonight.
I think that might have something to do with it, but I’m not sure.

When will the sign up close?
Looking to field a team, but its hard with such short notice.

theres only like 4 or 5 teams who can win it so your point isnt really valid.

Yawn. I’ve never understood attitudes like this. Surely the purpose of a game is to have fun as well as be competitive. I’ll enter my team into any cups/tournaments possible whenever possible (we are only ~div 4). Ideally I would like to get infused.tt first round… it would be a chance to play one of the best teams in the world?!? Who wouldn’t want that! Of course we would get rolled but it would be a one-off opportunity to see where their play differs from us and gives us a chance to improve.
Failing that give us Reditio, we’ll always take the chance to squash them <3 (just kidding spike).

I can agree that some teams would like to participate just to play versus top team, like Infused.Tt in your case, but still most of the teams won’t sign up coz they realise that will be beaten in the first round and it’s not fun for them
able to merc for mid/+ team as a soldier, can go other class aswell

A prem team would destroy a div2 team just as hard as a div5 team – so whats the point really? in fact a prem team would destroy most teams in current div1 5-0 quite easily.
when we were in div5, we used to take part in as many cups like this as possible to have a chance to play against people much higher than us(because obviously it would be a waste of time for them to play pcws against us).
and why? Well, to improve, to see what they do differently, and try to copy it.
