Really depends on what weapon you are using. I find it a lot easier to hit people with rockets when they ain’t watching than with hitscan. But then again, I’m terrible :D

This yea. Or moving out onto yard/point into buildings etc.
haha yea :D
Most of the times thou his dodging is meant for someone else, making it easier it for you predict him. Also not shooting at you usualy means he is shooting someone else, thus u shooting at him supports ur teammate and prolly creates a 2v1 situation where u come out as the winner :P. (note: i use rockets!)
If I understand the 4 or 5 ppl question correctly I guess i would always prefer less people. Even if a guy is at 30 hp his damage output will still be the same, so instead of trying to do “the big move” before you die maybe its a good idea considering acting like you got a lot of hp might, which could take you far.
Espec for me as a solly playing the most inmobile class (if u dont rj ofc) in the game you might chicken out and run to your medic because you dont have the hp to survive a player directly focus you. But as a solly you are for the most of the time not a focused target, so acting like u got tons of health even thou u aint might win a battle. Scouts are used to not getting that extra heal because they have it easier to dodge/run away but if a solly manage the same its prolly a high reward for the team.
Also a lot of battles are so close nowadays that 30hp extra might win or loose the round. Cool stuff.
U can ignore all of the above if they call that the soldier with the gay hat is at 30 hp and they insta kill you.

Mm yea but a better example would be after uber vs uber play, with all the trying to get around, getting in a good after uber pos and so on. When someone calls “GO fucktards” u just cant sit and wait for the 50% HP to respawn. You go in and hope that whoever has the hp to take focus successfully do his part, making your 50% less hp unnecessary for the situation cuz ur dmg will be the same and when its really needed.

Fuck that shit!
I’ll bait you out, get the 50% HP then clean up all the weak dudes for my frag movie reel.

fragmovies where the player is not focused by the enemy is shit (if it aint super ninja or airshot) :D no rep
I hide in a corner like a coward while my team gets wiped. Then, when the other team pushes out to recap their 2nd, I’ll come in and ninja the point.

Ha this was actually funny.

such a bad suggestion, playing mixes against div 4/5 people at 2 in the morning will not make you better, it will make you terrible
Usually at least 50% of the players is div3+
But I know what you mean. It depends on the class. As a battleclass it might drag you down because you exploit the lack of teamplay and comms, and therefore can get into easy situations where you get behind the enemy for easy shots, something which you would never pull off against a real team with players of equal skill. As medic I see no real problem. There’s always a few gunboating retards in the mix (<3) who try to jump you at every occasion. It's actually a better training in spam avoidance and keeping correct distance. IMO, that is…

the key was to find icey, the most underrated soldier in tf2
fixed it for you ;)

[…]That comes with experience and playing with your team. You just need to be given a chance to achieve that.
Agree. But you dont have to build up that experience in a high div, right? That makes no sense. You build up the experience in the lower divs, and then you can apply to higher divs and show during your trials that you know in what place to be and what to do at the right time etc. I've had solly trials for my team which were perfect sollies in terms of aim, but they just didn't have the experience to know where to be and what their function is in certain situations, and how to comm and react to comms efficiently. You simply need to play more to understand it. It has nothing to do with talent or elitism.

This, this, a thousand times this…even at our level this is true.
Established teams want to go for the safe option and don’t want to faff about trialing, quite obvious as to why you don’t get prem/div 1 teams picking up players from lower divisions.
Even the transition from div 1 to prem is unlikely to happen just via recruitment.

It’s not all about making you play better, it’s about getting to know people who know people.
Besides, fragging the shit out of a double mix if you’re div5/6 and there’s a few div3s/div4s might give you some positive rep…. and then these people might put something nice on a recruitment thread or recommend you to someone.
You could be absolute horse shit in a proper pcw situation… but because you went huge at 2am with 11 people watching at least a few of them are gonna remember.
This is the whole reason why my div5 clan (albeit individually being higher) tries to only play div2/3 skilled clans. You don’t improve if you don’t play better players, and generally we steamroll div4 clans. Staying with your team moving up the divisions equals stay down in your pit and be shit, leave the being pro to us.
