Don’t forget that div2 is still a far cry from prem or div1 level. The gaps between div321prem are quite large. Even within the divs the difference can be quite significant. I can believe div6-3 or low 2 instantly, but after that it gets a lot harder to just drop in there coming from div456.

because the proven player is, most times, better than the non-proven player.

Yeah definitely. Most of my post was aimed at div4/3 looking down on 5/6.

i also think that the aim in div 6 is not that far away from div 4 ( proven in a lot of mixes)
but the higher the level is that u are playing it becomes more important to use your brain ( be patient for the backcap, or certain picks on demo medic)
so u can be the bigggest fragmachine in div 6 but u may lose in div 4 cause the enemy has better positioning

all aim no brain <3

if you want to work your way up take us for example. we spent 3 seasons in div6, and every next one we moved one div up. the key was to find 6 guys that could play together every day. and getting to know each other’s play. great aim is good but only if combined with great team play. as for myself, I have terrible aim. I found this out in last few days spent on MGE servers. But tapping tab every once in a while and positioning during match, communicating and calling every jump and most importantly LISTENING to main caller, etc. is sufficient. At least here in div4.

I could write so much about this subject but then no one would ever read my post :P

Learn to play aggresive
Learn to survive while being aggresive.
Learn to act like you have 200 hp no matter what hp ur at.

true story, you will get into a top team

such a bad suggestion, playing mixes against div 4/5 people at 2 in the morning will not make you better, it will make you terrible

As an avid medic I have to agree. Especially after not playing AFS but tons of mixes I played really bad when I was with my team again.

Learn the power of walking forward. It will get you far.
Learn to shoot at someone that is not shooting you. You wont miss.
Learn to force the opponent into making decisions. Forcing a 6 man team to do either A or B causes confusion.

People that are not shooting you can be very easy to hit, or very hard to hit. A scout chasing a player on your team is easy usually easy to hit. But somebody dodging somebody else’s shots can be very unpredictable.

But I agree about going forward + not showing how much hp you have. What do you prefer to attack? 4 guys or 5? My guess is 4, that’s why you have to be there even with low hp. You can play careful, but not so careful people see you’re weak.

Most of the times thou his dodging is meant for someone else, making it easier it for you predict him. Also not shooting at you usualy means he is shooting someone else, thus u shooting at him supports ur teammate and prolly creates a 2v1 situation where u come out as the winner :P.

If I understand the 4 or 5 ppl question correctly I guess i would always prefer less people. Even if a guy is at 30 hp his damage output will still be the same, so instead of trying to do “the big move” before you die maybe its a good idea considering acting like you got a lot of hp might, which could take you far.
Espec for me as a solly playing the most inmobile class (if u dont rj ofc) in the game you might chicken out and run to your medic because you dont have the hp to survive a player directly focus you. But as a solly you are for the most of the time not a focused target, so acting like u got tons of health even thou u aint might win a battle. Scouts are used to not getting that extra heal because they have it easier to dodge/run away but if a solly manage the same its prolly a high reward for the team.
Also a lot of battles are so close nowadays that 30hp extra might win or loose the round. Cool stuff.

U can ignore all of the above if they call that the soldier with the gay hat is at 30 hp and they insta kill you.

I dont really understand the 4 or 5 ppl question. :/ Guess im tired

Unless there is a collossal misunderstanding here, I think he means that having 5 players at point X is more likely to deter an attack than having 4 people there, aka it is important to show the numbers and not present yourself as weakened.

Really depends on what weapon you are using. I find it a lot easier to hit people with rockets when they ain’t watching than with hitscan. But then again, I’m terrible :D
