The guys in yyt love playing this game, unlike most other teams who are only in it to show off their amazing sk1llz. “omg wrong div now erryone think im bad”. So you can play div1, but you got seeded in div2? Enjoy your easy season :D
Some argue this to be a waste of time, which imo is simply the wrong mindset to begin with..
Besides, it’s not like the skill gap is THAT huge (ie seeding TCM in div2 to pick a random example..)
You can’t keep the same 10-15 teams at the top of the pyramid indefinitely. Others will continue to climb up the skill ladder – again, whether you like it or not. Times change, get used to it.
Are you serious? the best 10/15 should be there so they do that by beating them.

It doesn’t matter what they’re called, whether Division 2 was changed to 3 it wouldn’t matter, because it wouldn’t fuck up the divisions and it would give what some people are suggesting what they want. Moving division 1 teams to division 2 is retarded, moving division 2 teams to division 3 is retarded, because they DO NOT fit there.
My point is: If you want the best of division 1 in the form of 8 teams, you can’t send the others down and mix them with the other division because you’re going to make even MORE people unhappy.

But can’t you see that moving the top 8 from div1 up, is in fact the same thing as sending the bottom 8 down. Of course, what you suggest would result in less whine because teams would only be moved up a notch and thus fooled into thinking better of themselves.
Nevertheless, moving teams up or down, the end result stays the same so saying the teams don’t fit there makes no sense. I can give you an example if you find it hard to see.
In the end the only perfomance that matters are lans.

Actually, I can see that, which is why I’m happy with the divisions as they are.
Moving teams from division 2 to division 3, division 3 to 4, division 4 to 5, division 5 to 6 does change the end result, so yes, it does make sense, because that will result in teams not being where they belong to fit the egotistical idea of “la creme de la creme”.
Lets be fair, this is a problem because of the playoff system, and the people who don’t like it the way it is. But lets not forget, they couldn’t give two fucks about any results which happened last season because they’re the same egotistic fucks that dropped because of a rule they couldn’t care less about the season before.
Some people can’t be pleased, and they still complain even though they have been able to choose the maps and choose the rules, what more could you want?

Equilibrium is not really the same team anymore. 2 or 3 players left, including haunter, leaving the team with new players and barely any practice. Or at least thats what i’ve heard…
Admins should implement a rule about the promotion. Something like “If you replace 3 or more main players of your team prior to the new season, you will have to play against other contenders in a playoff.” Something like that should work fine, if you still deserve your spot in the higher divisions, you will earn it..
people thinking div 1 is “la creme de la creme”, are just being daft since thats prem :D.
Also, you cant split these 16teams dropping 8 into div2 because those teams are close in terms of skill and play, so the games are going to be close, and the gap from div2 -> 1 is fairly big in terms of team play, so a div1 team in div2 will beat them with ease. Why is it so wrong to have 16 teams in div1? its not, stop trying to fuck this season up like the last one was. The seeding look great apart from a few teams not being placed where they belong, but whatever, this as close as you can get it to have each, especially the higher divs, for a fair and competitive season. why are you people trying to get teams put lower to dominate a table rather than have it more competitive between the teams that are playing where they belong? duhr its so fucking mind boggling. jesusssss (removed some “s”, xoxo CanFo)
how about the 8 teams per div though, it should be fine imo as long as there arnt as many drops as last season (take last years prem as an example), but if the same amount of teams fold per div, all some teams might have to do to come top 3 is just not fold :P

Sure, try keeping track of that with 350+ teams :D
would be easier if they had done a short summer season maybe? less time for lineup changes
most of you doesnt seem to realize that last season 80% of the TOP scene werent playing in this league. So last season d1 teams equal d2 pretty much. Hence half of the current d1 should go down to d2, and yeah rest of the 8 real d2 teams will have good matches when they push the rest of the team from d2 to d3 where they belong.
