I have totaly no idea how we should build in some “skill system”.
Assign a ‘skill level’ to each player (which may be accumulated over games). This skill level may be extracted from their etf2l profile (divisions played in) or just keep track of their wins / losses (less accurate but over time should reflect relative skill difference). Or some established ranking algorithm.
Create teams based on this. Lazy way: generate X random teams and compute the average and median (or some other statistical stuff). Use the team whose average, median & whatever other metric are the closest to each other.

Just need to display the classes somehow.
It’s up to the devs when it get deployed. They have to do work on their part too.

can anyone do something bout this, 2nd pickup in a row we have no server to play on and we had 2 teams in one mumble channel. you should seriously pause the pickup bot so people can play properly instead of looking for a mumble or a server.

i though we fixed this yestarday with adding a new server…we will see what we can do ;)
I want to report a problem, even though it’s a small one. If I’m not in a pickup (didn’t pick a class), but just on the website. The “Pickup Starting” sound is still played.

The bug might be only for you or for some browsers…i am using chrome and i dont have any problems!

I will totally disagree with you…your design is…ugly…and yea they wont code it. I am really confused how you said that you gave up on the pickups but still giving us “ideas” about design + showing bugs/errors in the etf2l topic like you want to prove somebody that the pickup is going bad without you…i am sorry but when you left the pickup actually started growing up..a bit by bit..i’ve got new coders that started working immediately on features that you only said that you will develop..Moreover, I spoke with the gps.com guys and they gave us +1 server because of the development of the website…and now..the drama..crafz is telling me to add the new design … i am sorry but i wont do this…because you just gave up…if you wanted to work on your project, you shouldn’t gave up because of some guys that didn’t like your ideas and gave troll/bad feedback…thats my opinion about all that creapy things going around in the few days…i would like to hear the opinion of the community because this is getting on my nerves a bit…
Also, i would like to say that i appriciate your idea in the begining and the motivation that you started working on it…but later.. meeh

Fuck you. First of all, both designs are mine. And secondly, how is my second design ugly? Like, sure it’s not perfect, but how is it ugly, please explain.
