Season 18 powered by Tt eSPORTS – Wrapup

The 18th 6v6 Season of ETF2L has come to an end after 3 months of matches across all divisions, and we finally know the champions of Europe. It is our pleasure to announce that European Epsilon eSports, have returned to their throne , securing 500€ from the prize pool as well as 6 Tt eSPORTS Cronos Gaming Headset courtesy of Tt eSPORTS. 

The VoDs of all playoff matches from BlackOutGamingTV and TeamFortress.TV are available on the their respective YouTube channels.

The winning squad is comprised of:

European Awsomniac earned 2nd place, winning €300 and 6 Tt eSPORTS Theron Gaming Mouse courtesy of Tt eSPORTS. European Fenneks eSports by SimRai.com [season 18 won 3rd place, securing €200 and 6 Tt eSPORTS Black Element Gaming Mouse 

And thanks to TF2Pickup for donating €100 we had additional prizes available to hand out in the following structure:

  • gold medal Division 1 winner: €100

It is also worth mentioning that Denmark LEGO convincingly won Division 1 this season, and we will hopefully see them in the Premiership Division next season! European Politically correct pander successfully won their premiership tiebreaker against Germany who is? to keep their spot in the Premiership Division next season.

In the other playoff and tiebreaker matches, Finland Planet Express won their tiebreaker to earn their place in Division 1 for next season. You can check all the playoff and tiebreaker results here.

Season 19 application reminder

If your team finished last in a group with two or more drops (which means all demotion spots are occupied), you are not guaranteed a spot in the same division in Season 19. Although you are not in the “red zone”, you are still in danger of demotion if more worthy candidates apply for the same division.

In other words: if your team finished last, you still have to submit screenshots if you apply for the same division in Season 19.
