Season 16 powered by BlackOut Gaming – Wrapup
The 16th 6v6 Season of ETF2L has come to an end after 3 months of matches across all divisions, and we finally know the champions of Europe. It is our pleasure to announce that the reigning champions, Epsilon eSports, have emerged as the winners once again, securing 500€ from the prize pool, courtesy of BlackOut Gaming as well as 6 Tt Theron Gaming Mice courtesy of Tt eSports. As is becoming a regular occurrence, they won every map they played this season, the closest team to beating them was REVERTO pushing Epsilon to 5-4 on cp_snakewater.
The VoDs of all playoff matches from BlackOutGamingTV, VanillaTV and TeamFortress.TV are available on the their respective YouTube channels.
The winning squad is comprised of:
flamingo gaming esports club a.k.a willy wonkas chocolate factory earned 2nd place, winning €300 from BlackOut Gaming and 6 Tt SHOCK Gaming Headsets courtesy of Tt eSports. TCM Gaming won 3rd place, securing €200 and 6 Tt Pyrrhus Gaming Mousepads.
And thanks to private_meta for donating €250, we had additional prizes available to hand out in the following structure:
- Division 1 winner: €80

In the other playoff and tiebreaker matches, Keso gaming won their 3-way-tiebreaker to earn their place in Division 5 for next season. Sugoi as PuzZle! Fanboys won their Division 3b tiebreaker to earn their spot in Division 2, and Gra4i also won their tiebreaker and we will hopefully see them in Division 3 next season.

Season 17 application reminder
If your team finished last in a group with two or more drops (which means all demotion spots are occupied), you are not guaranteed a spot in the same division in Season 17. Although you are not in the “red zone”, you are still in danger of demotion if more worthy candidates apply for the same division.
In other words: if your team finished last, you still have to submit screenshots if you apply for the same division in Season 17.
More from Season 17 to come in future newsposts in January, get practicing!

Rising was fucking ROBBED of an award.
setlet, our recruitment officer, ulv, has not been sighted since 2011. Therefore we do not have the negotiation abilities we used to have when mr. numlocked joined our team in division 5, season 7.
