Season 33 Preseason Cup Home

As we are reaching closer to the closure of Season 32, we are proud to announce a sneak peek of what’s there to possibly come in Season 33! This cup will focus around testing potential maps for the upcoming season.

Maps:

Group Stage:

Each tier is divided into round robin groups of four teams meaning there could be multiple groups for each tier, teams that sign up sooner will be prioritized in getting a spot in the cup, so do not wait until the last minute to sign up!

• Signups close: May 15th at 21:00 CEST
• Group stage round 1: May 16th 19:00 CEST – cp_kalinka_rc5
• Group stage round 2: May 16th 20:00 CEST – cp_metalworks
• Group stage round 3: May 16th 21:00 CEST – cp_mist_rc1d

If the score on any of these maps is tied after the timelimit has been reached, a decider round (golden cap) will have to be played. Instead of using timelimit 0 for this cup, the golden cap will be played with winlimit 1 and timelimit 15.

Knockout Stage:

For this stage we aim to have 8 teams in each knockout bracket, if your skill tier in the cup has only 2 groups, all teams will proceed to the knockout stage by default. If your skill tier in the cup has 4 groups, top 2 teams from each skill group will proceed to the knockout stage.

• Quarter Finals: May 19th 19:00 CEST – BO1, Both teams ban 1 map, remaining map will be played
• Semi-Finals: May 19th 20:00 CEST – BO1, Both teams ban 1 map, remaining map will be played
• Grand Finals: May 19th 21:00 CEST – BO3, Both teams pick which map they want to play first/second, remaining map will be the decider map
