I am looking for a team to play with in open, preferably a team that is serious about improving and getting into higher leagues. I would also like at least one or more experienced players on the team to possible mentor my and help to improve my game.
Classes: The Classes that I am most comfortable on are Scout and Soldier. I am also more comfortable on the flank rather than with the combo, however I will play with the combo if required.
I am also a competent off classer, being able to play sniper and other off classes with some confidence.
I could also play medic if the team needs me to.
Experience: I am relatively inexperienced at playing competitive tf2. I have played a season of both HL and 6v6 in UGC iron/ Steel (which I really didn’t enjoy because of how incompetent all the teams were and how every game was like playing for an hour on a soap DM server) during this season I was (without sounding arrogant) the stand out best player on both teams.
Game sense: My game sense is what I would consider the strongest part of my game, as I have been watching demos and tutorials for months prior to join any team.
Whilst on a team I didn’t just watch my own demos but also demos of players on my team, in order to see how I could play around them better.
I very rarely overextend and die which is the main problem on the UGC teams that I play on, however this does mean that sometimes I am quite passive as I didn’t trust my team to win mid fights etc.
Mechanics: My strongest mechanical skills are movement and jumping, as I spend a lot of time jumping and moving around the maps that are in the competitive rotation. I also play a lot of jump servers etc.
I know the rollouts for every class on practically ever map in the rotation including demo.
I am also more than happy to talk and am able to call damage and positions effectively.
However the weakest part of my game is DM, I do not have poor DM by any means however it is something that I am currently not happy with and am working to improve.
This is the first time I’ve made a recruitment post so I don’t know if I made it way to long (I think I did) but thank you for reading if you have. I am also perfectly happy to be a sub for a team if I feel that there is an opportunity to improve my game.
