Basically, we lost our Demoman, after 7 months playing with him, he will be sorely missed, but we are looking for replacements.

same, but some teams dont have it. look at cashiers, they’ve been around for ever and have had a lot of periods where they had a shit ton of scrims

It’s different from person to person. Some can do the same thing day in day out while others want some variation. This team is doing well practising a lot and if they can keep it up kudos to them.

Nothing wrong with enjoying the game while trying to improve.
