Starting a new team in prep for S17 and looking for people to complete the roster, will explain what we want from each class below in more detail but generally we are looking for:
1. People with brains
2. Decent level of experience (dont have to have div 3 already but its prefered)
3. People that want to progress as a team and not act as individuals
Looking for Medic, Scout and a Pocket:
MEDIC:
Most important player we are looking for
Calm and vocal in all situations
Experienced enough to know what the fuck to do in most situations
POCKET:
Good calling/vocal
Decent Deatchmatching skills
SCOUT:
High level of DM
Know when to push forwards and when to fall back
Dont offlcass 24/7
Fluent in English pls
Playing times:
Sunday: 20CET – 22:30CET
Monday-Thursday: 20:30CET – 22:30CET (fuck work)

I have played plenty of Pugs at div 4 for a year now. Just because I haven’t played in a season of division 4 does not ultimately mean I am beneath that. I find it pretty fucking offensive you prejudge based on the fact I haven’t played a season. The whole idea is to trial them then say if they are good enough or not, not see if they good enough or not by there profile then judge them pre determinedly.
I have been searching for a team for division 4 for about a year It’s pretty fucking offensive to say I am div 6 without even seeing me play.

Look, I don’t care if you don’t think i’m good enough, but at least give me the fucking chance to trial instead of just declining me and misjudging me as “div 6”. If you at least gave me the chance to play then declined then that’s fine, but being judgmental is so fucking stupid.

Well to be fair just saying you’ve been playing div 4 mixes isn’t a lot to go by. There’s no actual proof suggesting you can play at that level.
Jacques, I’ll try and explain to you what’s happening.
First of all, if you didn’t manage to find a div 4 team for a year now, that means the problem is in you not really managing to play properly on that level. Sorry mate, no offense, but one year is really a lot in TF2. Your team history contains of only Div 5 & 6 teams, you played your last officials in 2012 and that’s in div 6. You can play pugs as much as you can, team history is what most team leaders check.
Every time a team puts a rec thread 5-6 players with no experience ask for a trial and call themselves capable of X division. Every time a team leader has to waste a night of trials because some guy thought he could play higher then he really is. It’s insulting for a team to waste hours on a guy who can’t play properly but says he can.
If you think you are good enough for that level, make a team and prove people wrong.
Pretty much what you wrote is just an elaborate “I’ve only ever played div6, but I have played div 4 mixes!!!11!!”
There is no Catch22 at all like you suggest, you find a div6 team that wont fold after the season, get promoted to div5, play with them again and get promoted to div4. Ta da you’re div 4 now.
@Reservoir dog, No that is not the reason, the reason is the teams I did join at div 4 ended up separating because the people wanted go off and do different things, not because I wasn’t capable, but because people wanted to go elsewhere.
I am capable of the division and I know I am, Div 4 teams have asked me to join, some I said no because I didn’t think they were good enough, the ones I said yes to ended up making there own teams. The last team I joined was going to go 4 but due to lack or organisation I decided to leave.
But I can play properly at that level, he just doesn’t give me chance, that’s whats infuriates me, I don’t have chance to prove myself. And to prove myself I have to start all the way at the bottom again? That’s a ridiculous waste of my time.
@Will it is though, because I am far better than div 6 and I did trial for a few div 5 teams but none were good enough so I just decided to go 4 instead because I am capable, but since I have no “evidence” you just dismiss me without giving me a chance.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with asking for at least official experience at a div4 level. Stop whining, you’re definitely not gonna get a chance to trial after making a shitstorm on a rec thread.
