Recruitment

Soldier  Div 6 Skill, 6v6

Slovenia Slajer

Posted: | Last Online:

Looking for Div6 (or whatever the lowest div is) team that could use a soldier. I would prefer a backup role mostly due to my weird work schedule.. i'm always available on weekends tho.
I've only played TF2 on public servers so far ever since it became free-to-play. Overall play time is 450 hours. My actual play time with soldier is 150+ hours.
I think i handle rocket launcher pretty well due to playing Quake games for almost 15 years (oh yes, i'm old) :)
My English is pretty decent and i ping well to most European servers.

My gaming history:
Started playing online in 1999 with Quake2. I moved to Quake3 right away altho my first real clan matches were in early 2001 and i've been playing competitively ever since in multiple games.
So far i've played in various competitions with the following games:
Quake3: 2001-2008 (various mods and game types)
Counter-Strike: 2001-2003 (Slovenian ladders only)
Call of Duty 1: 2004-2005 (Slovenian cups only)
QuakeWorld: 2004-2009 (on and off, not consistent)
Enemy-Territory: 2004-2010
QuakeLive: 2008-2012

From experience, anyone who’s played a lot of Quake tends to be slightly monstrous at the old aiming thing, like beastly and huge monstrous, not bad and awful monstrous.

I recommend giving him a go, just give a lot of direction, hope he’s the kind of person that listens and reacts to calls and I bet he could play div5/4 within a week.

    Good luck man.

    Thanks.

Yeah i think i got somewhat decent aim. I can’t really compare it to anything yet tho. Public play is a whole lot different than competitive play.

I had to show quite a lot of team play in ET and that is the closest i’ve come to this type of team coordination that is required in TF2. I’ve watched several shout casts and demos of div1 players already so i got a bit of sense of whats needed (and how to react).
But yeah, i still need to learn maps a bit better as well as positioning. Following orders has never been a problem :)
