Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 7: Faint Gaming vs. SVIFT EU

Date November 8, 2018

Faint Gaming vs. SVIFT EU

The final match of the regular season is upon us, and what a match it is ! SVIFT EU and Faint Gaming will battle it out in the hopes of reaching playoffs on the unpredictable Prolands and the classic Process.

It’s do or die for SVIFT EU, as nothing other than an almost-total victory will grant them access to the playoffs. Having recently picked up Ombrack, the team did not manage to seal the deal last week against Ora Elektro as that game ended in a draw. They did win Prolands during that however, so this good performance might be seen as an indicative of what they can do on this reworked staple.

Faint are looking like the favorites right now, due to having almost twice as many points as their opponent, but they have not played since week 4, and were in a streak of lost officials against Se7en and Ascent.EU. Now, SVIFT EU is a far different team but Faint’s might not be in the best possible shape compared to a few weeks ago. They still need to be careful as well, as while they cannot drop out of playoffs, they can fall down to the 4th place

So, will SVIFT EU walk home with a hard-earned playoff spot, or is their opponents’ lack of form an elaborate feint ? Tune in tonight to find out !

Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 7: Ora Elektro vs. wer das liest ist doof

Date November 7, 2018

Ora Elektro vs. wer das liest ist doof

This is it, the first match of the final week is upon us. Two teams enter, only one of them will make playoffs ! Ora and WDLID are tied with 5 points, and are only one point away from SVIFT, who are occupying the last playoff spot. A dominant victory from either of the team would make a playoff appearance that much sure as SVIFT would have to defeat Faint to stay in the race, while a tie would help SVIFT, who would only need 3 points to qualify.

Wer das liest ist doof had a rough start, but that was before enough dropping out to put my academic career to shame happened. Despite them failing to obtain a single point, they had a very good showing against Se7en last week so Honey and his homies will be looking to keep the momentum going.

Ora Elektro, after being quite discrete the previous weeks came back on Monday against SVIFT. It looked like their hiatus was put to good use as they managed to win Sunshine very convincingly, but SVIFT operated a speedy recovery and managed to defeat them on Prolands.

So, will the old guard beat the new kids on the block on the staple maps that are Badlands and Process ? Or will they pass the torch to this not-so-new squad ? Tune in to find out !

Season 31 powered by Copenhagen Games & STN.tf Week 6: Ora Elektro vs. SVIFT EU

Date November 5, 2018

Ora Elektro vs. SVIFT EU

Tonight, it’s Sweden Faint Gaming versus Norway Ora Elektro on Sunshine and Prolands.

Last week, SVIFT were outmatched by wer das liest ist doof. On Snake they went 1-0 down in just under two minutes, which snowballed fast into a 3-0 deficit. They gallantly pulled it back to 3-2 with three minutes left, but couldn’t gain that crucial third round for a Golden Cap. Sunshine was started with idiosyncratic swiftness, taking a quick first round and giving the Germans a taste of their own medicine, but it was nothing that Dr Phil and co couldn’t overcome, losing eventually 2-1.

Meanwhile, it’s been 15,000 years since Ora Elektro played their last official. It was at the start of October versus Se7en, where they showed a more than commendable fight on Gully (though couldn’t come up with the end product on Viaduct).

Will Ora Elektro’s return to our screens be a cause célèbre? Or will Smirre and the boys pull the Ora plug?

Catch all the action on TF TV with your hosts, GrumpyKoi, Eepily and Beater.
