Vaccinator Cup: Second Edition is Live!

Date March 6, 2013

Cup Tree

The Brackets for the cup are now public and can be found here.

Three teams – Fenneks eSports, Dikker top medic of Russia and Windtunnel Tactics – were the last to sign up, and in order to avoid byes in the first round, have been put in reserve to replace any teams that don’t show up.

Make sure to let admins know if you cannot play, or your match is running more than 5 minutes late. If you are 10 minutes late then set mp_timelimit to 20 minutes, and so on. This is to keep the next round on time.

The Schedule

  • 20:00 CET – Ro16 – cp_badlands
  • 20:45 CET – Ro8 – cp_granary
  • 21:30 CET – Ro4 – cp_snakewater
  • 22:15 CET – Finals – cp_gullywash_final1

Map Rules

  • 1 map per match
  • Each map is a 30 minute to round
  • The round is played with mp_windifference 5
  • If scores are tied a Golden Cap round is played
  • Overtime rules: timelimit 10, winlimit 1. First team to cap wins. If neither team caps in 10 minutes, the round goes to whoever controls the middle point.

The Cup Whitelist can be found here

Good luck, have fun and contact admins in #etf2l if you need any help!

ETF2L Season 14 powered by Twitch: Crack Clan vs Quarantine

So here we are, one of the last Premiership matches is about to happen and for both of the teams winning and losing might bear entirely different consequences. For Germany Crack Clan it’s a matter of sitting next to European Epsilon eSports in the table and thus having to play only one match in order to secure their chance at winning the season. Europe Quarantine on the other hand will either be able to sleep tight tonight or anxiously await the relegation playoffs. They are fully aware of their situation and as such nobody expects them to give up without a fight. Will they manage to pull off the ever so awaited upset or is Crack Clan going to roll them over and secure their forever-second position?

Season 14 powered by Twitch: Pokeman vs Damage Control

ETF2L Season 14 powered by Twitch: Pokeman vs Dc.

One team back from the brink of folding and the other firmly wedged into the relegation zone, both backed into a corner and ready to come out fighting. European Pokeman have been enjoying relative success as of late, demonstrating their prowess versus a debilitated European Quarantine and taking home a substantial 6 points in an effort to coast them through until next season. Quite conversely, International Damage Control will be seeking to reverse their luck after only winning a single map versus one of the weaker teams in the competition, despite putting up a fight all season.

Pokeman announced they were folding before their win yesterday. Completely unrelated, I asked Germany Crack Clan’s Germany ipz- for the inside scoop:

Ipz – “Haunter is an idiot”

ETF2L Season 14 powered by Twitch: Pokeman vs Quarantine

Update: Europe Pokeman took back their decision to drop. The match is still on for tonight!

Week 7 has commenced and as the provisional schedule for Season 15 has been announced yesterday, it’s time for most of us to close up the season. There are still a few matches left for Premiership though, some of them important as they will decide upon who will have a better chance to fight against Europe Epsilon eSports in the finals and who will face relegation. One of those will happen tonight as we’ll get to see Europe Pokeman go head on against Europe Quarantine in what could be a last man standing battle for both of them. While Pokeman‘s both upcoming matches are relatively much easier than previous ones, Quarantine has yet to fight against Europe Crack Clan, so they will have to pull out all the guns at their disposal to not end up at the bottom of the table.
