Tenchi – no idea where it came from. It’s easily confused in my cheap headset though. Someone said “Grrr that f***ing frenchie!” (to some spammy guy) followed by me bawling into the mic “Hey come on man, chill out, I’m trying my best here! You try being medic!”

purplefistmixer has been my nickname since I was 12 or so, the story is semi-ridiculous so I’m not going to divulge it here. I use “pfm” when purplefistmixer is too long. Was called “aqua” before then.

Yeah, you’re not dreaming. I used to play monk at my beginning on Guildwars (my first online game; 2004-2007). Then people called me Hansa (for quicker calls) and i kept it when switching for Warrior.
Then Hansa on TF2 which is my first fps game (with a short use of Mariusz that is the polish translation of my rl first name) during the first weeks.
