Manchester is fucking awesome man. Newcastle is known for having the best nightlife in the UK, but Manchester is the city with the most students in europe. It’s literally a student city which revolves around it’s nightlife and you can go out any night of the week.

I don’t know when you’re traveling but you should check out, The Warehouse Project. It’s basically a venue under one of the train stations in a proper grungy basement setting with awesome live acts and some really good artists. This is mainly in the winter time though, but they do have some events during summer. Other then that there are a tonnes more places open late (some till 7-9am) with some great electro/dnb/dubstep nights. Being a student obviously makes this cheaper.
