K, so i just started playing quke live.
Only really played free for all and a team team matches… seems fun.
But just wondered what sort of stats are good…
These are mine. (wont be good as u can see 3 hours.) Also that was on a bad pc/net, at home i seem to be much better with my own setup.

Good stats are 35% mg/lg with 50% rail before/after spamming. As a new player you’ll probably be wanting to hit 30% and 45% respectively.

Gauntlet 1 N/A 0%
Machinegun 37 22% 12% <— used till i find a good gun.
Shotgun 19 20% 5% <— not keen, usualy use when i dont know where a good gun is.
Grenade Launcher 5 16% 2% <– random spam, used when desperate.
Rocket Launcher 140 45% 61% <— Fav Weapon.
Lightning Gun 21 15% 7% <— im not good with it yet, but seems OP
Railgun 91 8% 4% <— Always been a nice gun in the right hands, but thats not mine yet.
Plasma Gun 30 13% 8% <— seems ok, i should prob use more.
BFG 0 0% 0% <— WTF did't know this was in Quake Live
Chaingun 0 0% 0% <— not used this yet.
Nailgun 0 0% 0% <— use to be good back in the day.
Proximity Mine 0 0% 0% <— forgot these were in quake.
Oh yeah, bunny hopping does this game require you to duck aswell? because i seems to get pretty good speeds just jumping, unless an old habbit kicked in and i was ducking without realising.

Found this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw3vIeLPPHs does not sugest ducking, but them again it does’t say about jumping ;) How do you show the velocity meter?

That is a special kind of strafe jumping. You shouldn’t try to do it like that at first.

low accuracy due to me being a CA-spam-whore =)
Do you have to do the 90 degree turn to get started? Even just weaving left and right and jumping seems to get you going pretty fast.

I do pretty well in FFA but not that great in CA. It’s fun though.

atmo: if you want your first jump too be as far and fast as possible, you need to do a “circle jump” hence the 90 degrees start.
