In his manifest he says he doesn’t believe in God. So O’Reilly is actually right for a change.

but his reasoning is fucking atrocious.

why can’t religion be discussed on these forums? People chat so much other shit here I don’t see how a civilised discussion on it shouldn’t be allowed?

people’s views can be offended :(

Because adding another subject where uninformed opinions can be presented as fact does not add anything to the community. This is a place where we talk about games and cats with pop-tart bodies flying through space shitting rainbows.

That is nowhere near enough of a reason to forbid discussion of politics or religion.
And by discussion I mean, talking about a subject, dismissing someones arguements by presenting evidence in a civilised manor.

Though I can see how serious discussions of politics and religion might not be the top priority of a TF2 league admin. Or even players.
Most likely a well crafted way of boosting your ego by acting smart in a forum where everyone knows you. If you genuinely want to talk or argue about those subjects, or you just feel like taking it out on religious people by desperately trying to convert them to atheism, which we all know never works cause they don’t want to hear it no matter what, then there’s many forums and whatnot on the internet.

you can’t have a ‘discussion’ with someone who refuses to follow logic.

Bill O’Reilly is as unexplainable as the sun and the tides. You will never be rid of him.

Btw, did he ever acknowledge that Mars actually has 2 moons?

The main problem (for me personally) is not about the right or wrong in this particular case.
Watch any Fox News bit on radical fundamentalist muslim terrorists and you will see that their view is that these radicals represent the entire community.

The entire story about him not being a christian is pitched as the Left pointing the blame to the Right.

So for a “News” network that advertises itself as “Fair and Balanced”, being this biased towards one side is a bit of a joke.

On a slight side note, why was it so annoying to get to watch the Daily Show online? Wasn’t the internet meant to be a place that doesn’t require national boundaries…

Nope UK doesn’t get it. I think it is because of a deal with channel 4. Had to DL Firefox and do some Modify Header thingy that makes it work.

Funny how TV broadcast rights get in the way of internet streaming.
