Choc Mini mechanical keyboard interest check

I bought a Noppoo Choc Mini from a Chinese seller, but he sent me one with the wrong switch types to what I ordered (I wanted Red, got Brown). The seller is sending me one with Reds, and I will check which one I prefer of the two. Rather than going through the hassle of sending the spare one back to China I’m wondering if anyone here would be interested in buying it off me. I have used the Brown for about half an hour, it is still in perfect nick.

Note that it is the ISO (American) layout and has no numberpad, which means it is a smaller size and generally desirable for gaming.

Cost me about €110, would be looking for €80 plus whatever shipping to the UK/EU from Ireland (shouldn’t be expensive).

If anybody is interested in it, let me know, otherwise I’ll probably just send it back to him.

Reds are linear switches, supposedly better for FPS gaming. All I play is TF2, so they’re probably more suitable for me. The Browns are more all-rounders and would be a good balance for people that do a lot of typing as well as RTS and FPS. Linear switches aren’t so good for RTS because they don’t provide as much feedback.

They’re much more resilient, solidly built, last longer, N-Key Roll Over, feel nicer to type on, sound great.

The Choc Mini is actually pretty cheap for a mechanical keyboard. Koeitje’s http://www.vanillatf2.org/2011/07/hardware-filco-majestouch-reviewFilco Majestouch[/url] is about twice the price!

I think the Steelseries 6gv2 is about €70. OCUK have it.

Plus tax plus very expensive shipping. It’s also out of stock until some vague date in the future.

Cherry G80-3000 is the one I’m getting once I get the money. It’s on amazon for £60 too ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0041KJKAG ). Haven’t tried it myself but heard nothing but good things from the fanatics at geekhack and Cherry keyboards are known for being great.

They ship cherry red from a belgium online store, flico. If you want keyboards, I suggest them.
