The top link is a BIG article explaining the proposed bill in detail and how it could effect us. The second link is a youtube video doing the same for those who don’t like reading. The tl;dr of it all is that a bill could be passed making it illegal to steam video games or even upload a video of a friends doing karaoke.

Whatever the U.S does we’re never far behind tbh.
I don’t think it will go through. Games get promoted so well through unofficial youtube videos and streams, the companies themselves don’t want it.

only uk… nobody else seems to care tbh, or at least have common sense to stop these fools earning money from normal ppl having lives
edit: if anything gets through it will just increase the divide where u cant view some material bcs u live in X country… wont affect europeans who do these uploads what so ever

Youtube servers are american based. Not only that but there are people here who are probably subscribed to peoples videos from across the pond. I’m not claiming to know how this law could affect people outside of america, merely informing people of what is going on.
