So instead of charging for DLCs they charge a monthly fee, additional to the 60$, and then another 60$ the year after, what a ripoff.

Why anyone would pay for that, its basicly like steam, but it cost.

The reason this is destined to be a disaster. Only if you could have like hundreds of players on a server for cod (planetside!) would i pay a monthly fee, i gave cod a chance when i bought MW2 as i loved cod1/2 but i’ve given up on them now its just a boring generic shooter with stupid gimmicks.
BF3 don’t let me down.

I read somewhere that BF3 will feature servers up to 256 players.

I doubt anymore than 64 will make it enjoyable anyway.

With 64 you already get quite a clusterfuck, so if you allow up to 256 imagine how many of those people will be idiots camping vehicles or camping @ snipe spots not doing anything usefull.
