Help Me Out Please

Okay, so things have gone a little too far with my dumb roommate. He torrents shit to such an extent I can’t play without having pings spiking up to 480+.
Things I have tried:
-Asking him to stop (politely)
-Asking him to stop (rudely)
-Asking him to stop (forcibly)
Now I’m thoroughly pissed, and here’s a list of what I want to do:
-break his goddamn Mac
-block his internet access
-punch him in the face
Out of that three, only one is a viable option. Anyone willing to teach me?

Get the police to arrest him for illegally downloading copyrighted material.
Or do some juju shit with the router so it blocks the utorrent ports.

If you pay for the internet connection. Ask him to fork up the money to pay for the amount of crap he is downloading, if not.. remove his access to the net entirely.
Or do what someone said above and start blocking dem ports.
I used to disable the Wireless access on my router, can’t remember how I did it. Do you have the router page?
Thing is, we share a host family, so we both pay for it. But he’s downloading waaaay to much crap, is slowing down my normally speedy internet and even got himself a warning from Virgin about excessive data usage. If anyone can teach me how to block ports and do some backdoor stuff so I can get my ping back, it will be much appreciated.

editedit: oh daleth, regarding that chinese thingy in that game we played, all my roommates who cause these problems are chinese lol

Are you wired? If you know your router IP (usually 192.168.1.1/192.168.2.1/192.168.0.1 etc) then you could probably just fully disable the wireless on the settings altogether, or at least change the password.

Just try typing one of the above mentioned ip’s in your browser.
Surely one will end you up into the routers menu.
Find out which port hes using for torrenting and close it.
If hes using newsgroups, your fucked, only solution then is to cut him of the internet completely.
