such if your monitor is 1080p or higher then you will barely notice dropping antialiasing down to 2x. anything higher tends not to be overly visible.
i can change my antialising settings to whatever, doesnt change the fps at all=cpu limit!?

Try Chris’s DX9 config and report back.
Also, that PC is such a total waste of money it almost makes me physically angry.
Have you tried resetting the Catalyst Control Centre to default, when I have been tinkering in the past I have found it quite easy to eat my fps by selecting a dodgy combination. It didn’t matter what was in my tf2 configuration as it was overrode by the control panel.

I would not say that.
Planning on getting extra 2 monitors, so the GPU’s are not a waste. the memory is needed. where’s the waste?
And I will reset the Catalyst control panel, and try the dx9 config.
Did a reset to my Catalyst settings, went with the dx9 config. I do not see a difference.
Still diving to the 90’s and 80’s.
Now, I even saw a 70 once.
With the MAX fps config, I had steady 150 frames. just saying.

The part where you spent more money on graphics cards, than I spent on my 2 year old graphics card and going to i42 combined, and I still get 3-4x the FPS.
skyride jealous because he can’t afford a graphics card that will last another few years :D

he has old i5
and if u have maxed out ur ati control panel that fps seems fine, cant expect the card to render shit its not made to do at 200fps
or…its ur crossfire

Your specs are superb, shouldn’t get less than 300 fps at max graphics and full HD..
And since you are running other games fine, try removing TF2 completely and installing it again.

Why?
I think it should have at least 120 fps stable.
And I tried disabling the crossfire, lower max fps, but same dives to the 80’s and below.

Why?
His PC is superb, and he runs Crysis 2 (other games as well?) at a min of 70 fps.
Seems like a problem with the game itself.

And reinstalling will fix that how?
See page 1 of this thread where OP states to be running win7.
