Hello, uhh I didn’t really know who to ask so I just decided it might be worth to post it on ETF2L since there are so many diffrent people in the community. : )
To the point, I’ve been starting too listen to, what I think I can call it electric jazz, my favorite song atm is
Quantic’s – Not So Blue
http://open.spotify.com/track/0j8bsjinzCv6lN9qWItulR
Was wondering if anyone knew any similiar songs or artists that make stuff like that?
(I personally didnt like most of the other stuff quantic does, so it doesnt have to be an artist that ONLY does this stuff)
Thanks in advance! ^^
Jaga Jazzist, Jazz Liberatorz.
try out:
bonobo – Stuff off of Dial M for monkey (flutter, D song, pick up), his other albums are pretty solid as well but this is the one most similar.
Mr. Scruff – Keep it unreal, ninja tuna
Lots of similar stuff off the Ninja Tune label as well
Other similarish artists: Amon Tobin, Jaga Jazzist, RJD2 and wax tailor a liiiittle bit
glhf
Mr Scruff is pretty awesome, Jazz Potato & Fish for example.
I like RJD2 as well, but i don’t think the description “electric jazz” fits to all of his tracks.
Bus Stop Bitties is a pretty amazing tune.
