mouse recommendations

Soooooooo, i started using an MX518 since i started playing 1.6 along time ago, recently it broke ;(( sad, so i had to replace it quickly so i bought the worse mouse i’ve ever used, a roccat kova, i could write an essay on how horrible this mouse is to play with, but it was on sale for £15 at PC World so i got it, now i have monies i was hoping to replace it, but i cant think what, pref similar to an MX518, i may even just get another one of them. But what mice do you use, and would you recommend it? cheerz ~_~.

but quite honestly the only mice you’ll find that feel remotely similar to the mx518 in shape is the mx518.
Try using forum search?
Buy a 3G laser mouse, 3.5G has some uncomfortable notes.
I am using R. Abyssus, thinking about to try out a mx518 soon.
If you’re comfortable with an MX518, just get another one. I’ve been using them since 2005 (gone through 3 myself), they all die due to the cord failing after about 2 years, but it’s by far the most comfortable and most awesome mouse I’ve used.

Well I made a comfortable move from mx518 to steelseries ikari. Works great!

Since you’re used to prediction I’d say the Zowie EC1.
But like nvc says, there isn’t really anything quite like the MX518, so just get another.

I moved from mx518 to EC1 and never looked back. And EC1 doesn’t have prediction. Sensor has prediction but 1000hz poll rate pretty much minimizes it so well that you don’t even notice the prediction at all.
