fk yes. I heard there’s gonna be another DLC for ME2 which sums up what’s happening between the end of 2 and the beginning of 3 or smth.
also, i’m at 27h now and just became champion, so… gg side quests.

DA2 is a complete and utter rape of the whole Dragon Age-saga.
DA:O was a bastardized RPG to begin with. You can’t really complain now.
I’m currently playing through as a healing mage on hard difficulty. I won the ‘big’ one on one fight using auto-attacks and not a single offensive spell solely because the person couldn’t actually do enough DPS to outdamage my healing. Took ages but was funny as hell. I’d have to admit even DA:O wasn’t that difficult due to the fact you could more or less break most of the fights by using certain spells and sitting in certain corners.
Dragon Age : Origins plays like a “make your own adventure book”, enough choices with meaning to make you feel like you are making your own story while still following a somewhat set story line.
Dragon Age II plays like a movie, barely any choices that have meaning, you have very little influence on the continuation of the story.
It’s not that DA2 is a bad game, the core frame work is pretty good and the character interaction isn’t all bad. It just feels rushed, the game feels incredibly tiny compared to DA:O due to the fact that every dungeon gets reused.
I do hope Bioware listen to the feedback, because they have made some great RPG’s in the past (<3 KoToR/NWN/Baldurs Gate)
Also, mages are just stupidly powerful (I know they are because of the lore, but it’s ridiculous) and making melee characters stronger in DA2 didn’t help that at all. (1 tank + 3 mages > any other party setup for both games).

Kotor was sick!
DA2 was not sick :[ Decent, but meeeeeeh.
da, kotor waas amazing, even kotor 2 was good(ish)
Yeap KOTOR was amazing, agree with the point of it feeling tiny, still going to play it again very soon!
lols at the end (sided with the mages) – abrupt much?
edit: was fun though… many things have indeed improved, but I do miss the length of DA:O a bit, took me longer than 38h with side quests…

So far I played around 3 hours with listening to all dialogs and so on on DA2, and thats what I can say:
DA origins felt much more realistic, I mean now I play rogue and some shadow teleports, kicks that explode enemies and so on. In da origins I could feel the surroundings more, since you could talk to everyone and get some one line reply, in da2 you can’t do that. Also leveling up menus and game hud was much more rpg style. All items in inventory almost look the same, there is junk section that takes away selling stuff in shops, skills have poor pictures compared to origins, professions doesn’t feel like it. In origins you could easily say that Leila is a bard, or alistar templar and what are they focused on.
The new combat system is faster and more balanced, and yes it was boring as hell to play anything but not rogue in da origins, but I thing they over done it. I mean even the mage does some funny stuff with its staff, it feels like matrix.
New speech system is quite noob-friendly too, since you can skip dialogue and still know which is “good” which is “bad” answer, it takes away some feeling too.
And what the fuck is with woman breast there, I cant play it without wantint to fuck everyone in the game.
