Everyone at leveluptv uses Sennheiser PC350/PC360’s at home, though not because they are sponsored… just because they have an awesome microphone.

But you would need a good sound card to get the real benefit. I’m using my on-board with the PC350s and people don’t like it as much as when I had it plugged into my creative sound-card

Astro A40’s.

Best headsets around, recommended by most of the people I Know.
I already ordered mine. =]

don’t buy anything with behringer stamped on it!

this is utter nonsense.

I’m quite sure I’ll order a PC350 this monday, considering the headphones are closed instead of the open PC360. If I ever go for a standalone mic, gryzor seems to have nailed it right there.

Thanks for all the feedback people! Hope that my MaxLAN coverage will be a lot clearer and better than it has been for the past couple of months.

Received my PC350 just now. Already very happy with the quality of the microphone and I’m sure the closed headphones will come in handy at MaxLAN in about a week!

Do you mean USB interfaces in general? Cuz it’s not your OS mate, it’s that specific soundcard (or its drivers) which causes the problem.

Also, all soundcards have decent AD converters nowadays, including onboard soundchips. The only problem with onboard soundcards is interference from within your PC which can be caused my multiple factors (PSU, GPU, bad grounding, etc)
