I may be wrong but I dont see many rich esport teams at lans, since theres not much money in the market unless your doing well and $900 could be a vital part of a small business.
I know there’s drama and theft going on and such, but…
is english blackfoger’s first language? and if so… wow.

I just re-read it. I get it now.
900 USD isn’t that much for a company in general. But i’m sure they have a fixed amount they spend on E-sports, and that this was a chunk out of it alright.
okay tl;dr version from my point of view:
– mvp requested some money for maxlan
– Blight gave him 900$ (btw: WTFBBQ 900$ for a LAN weekend for 6 players O_o)
– tf2 team left blight on the same day
– Blight wanted the money back
– mvp kicked him from IRC and blocked every communication
– mvp did all this to teach them a lesson cos rumors are around blight didnt pay the last LANs for the teams but told them they got lansupport
Everyone just read the Cadred article about Blight and what they did to teams that they “supported” it will all become clear.
I wouldn’t really think mvp would steal the money from him, I guess there would have been a motive behind it anyway.
