yes, apparently all those HL videos have a certain level of quality.

but no matter how awesome those trailers were, i have never heard of anyone making at leat a short movie (which i would love ofc).

The most promising try are/were seemingly the purchase brothers: http://www.youtube.com/user/PurchaseBrothers

but when you have a look at their channel, you will see that their last video is not even remotely related to HL2… sadly.
