Hey guys, considering getting me one of these.
Mainly because I have the money and they look cool.Obviously I would never use it for TF2 but I think they would be pretty sweet for RTSing,MMOing, RPGing. Anyone have any experiance using one?

used the nostromo N52 for quite a long time, its cool, but it takes a while to get used to.

Do you really need that many macro’s for an RPG/MMO or whatever. Played world of warcraft back in the days and used a old school windows mouse and it worked good. But what am I, just a noob I guess :D

I have an N52 lying around, takes a while to get used to but they are pretty nice for rpg’s. Not sure I would recommend it though. The N52 I had was pretty poor build quality (keys kept getting stuck, the antislip rubber surface on the underside kept letting go and the D-Pad wasn’t very responsive to me).

I might have gotten unlucky with a shitty model, and they might have fixed the problems the N52 had with this one (looks like the Nostromo N52e they announced a long time ago with Razer branding) but based on my experience with it I wouldn’t recommend it.

Do you use it for TF2? Or just general gaymings?

The hardware is by belkin – the software by razer (the old version, from before razer took over, was better).

I’ve used several of these for years. I’ve also used its Saitek counterpart http://images.trustedreviews.com/images/article/inline/2237-09.jpg (well, 7 of them – they dont last very long) for even longer (the latter for TF2). About half a year ago I got fed up with having to buy these things every 3 months and decided to play with keyboard like a normal person. I’ve not been able to properly rocket jump since =D

Long story short; Saitek > Belkin > Razer > Keyboard

Hmm, guess I’m going to get me one on the way home and make my own mind up
