We’re not in a rush, so we’re taking our time to find the right person. Whether that’s going to be ViQun, who knows.

What sort of server specs (cpu/ram – bandwidth is not an issue) should I be looking at to set up a proper stv relay? (would a cheap VPS do?)

A full 255 slot relay can take close to 1 core on our Intel Q6600 (2.4Ghz). I think we max out at around 1500 active users, using all 4 cores.
If you have a VPS with 512MB of RAM and are allowed to take nearly a full core during the match, it should be able to do 200 slots.

Amsterdam isn’t so bad if you stay away from the tourist areas though :P (getting asked what the best coffeeshop is in either very bad dutch or English/German gets old after a while)
It’s not like Rotterdam is that much better though. I’d say both places are equally shitty for different reasons.

FB vs eMg. Especially finding out how our medic got raped so bad on granary because the other soldier was using gunboats. Something we’d never played against and never expected :D Was a lot of fun playing those guys.
Epsilon vs Dignitas at i40. It wasn’t the greatest in terms of actually skill displayed (Try communicating on a very loud stage with spectators shouting at you), but it was such a close match that came down to the last second. Awesome for all spectators.
