Don’t get your panties in a twisup. I didn’t say it was “better” in the past, because the word “better” is meaningless without context.

I just said dubstep was beautiful, intricate and subtle to me. That “beauty” for me, comes out of the intricacy and subtleness. Like Joe Nice once said: “dubstep is about bass, space and place”, which is simply not true anymore. If people are more into that, that’s fine by me!

I’m not telling people what they have to like and what not. You are making that up 100%. Why so defensive and ad hominem?

In your short post you managed to call me a “stupid and ignorant” person, refer to my post as being poor, and claimed me saying this I didn’t even slightly imply; whilst I was just expressing a personal sentiment about the state of a musical genre.

Believe me, dubstep was extremely dear to me, tuning in to rinse.fm every evening, traveling hours every week just to see that specific dj play, producing myself and be honored when my track got played in a venue, always gunfingers blazing, screaming for the wheel, discussing latest dubplates, and so on and so on). But yeah, I’m probably just ignorant and stupid.
